Back to my puzzling about the end of the story for the bromance: JT said about Debbie, no one would play for 3rd place--so how can they take each other's
"I just want the two of us to get to the final 2" statements seriously?
Playing for the advantage that they've both betrayed off the same people only makes sense if each think he's going to win. Maybe they do. From the exit interviews, it sounds like Stephen is playing so far under the radar that people may not give him credit for his game. On the other hand both he and JT would probably make good FTC speeches. Which is another good thing about them in F2. I hate seeing people choke in the finals and there's been a lot of that lately. |

I am so sick of this romance....it has seriously lost its sparkle...

JT being a good FTC speaker? Doubtful, just hope it doesn't come down to Bore and Snore in the final 2. These 2 guys are almost as overated as Crystal was
last season. It would be more sickening than Blob winning.

You really think it's doubtful? JT is masterful at telling people what they want to hear and that is the main thing you need to do in FTC. Did you notice
how everyone trusts and respects him? Now it may turn out he's better at this one on one than to a group, but I think he'll do at least okay.
And this party is for the seethingly smitten. |

Like they both said, everyone knew they were running the show yet no one ever thought of taking them down. That's awesome gameplay right there.
I want both of them as F2 because I like it when all finalists are truly the ones playing the best game and never are blindsided. With the editing, it's obvious one of them wins so I rather finale being unpredictable with both of them as a possible winner. Bromance forever <3 |

The editing has sucked this season. We get episode after episode of Stephen and JT talking about how they're controlling the game, but we never get to see
their social game with others to determine how their control has come about.
It breaks a fundamental rule of good storytelling; you need to show the audience while it's happening instead of just telling them about it after-the-fact. Instead of seeing their interactions with the rest of the tribe, though, we're stuck with Coach-related drama. |

They were adorable this episode and JT has such beautfiul eyes!
But what exactly were they saying when they were imitating Debbie? I kept playing it over and over but I couldn't catch it. And then she walked in on it and knew they were immitating her. LOL! |

JT at FTC would be funny....nobody would be able to understand half of what he is saying.

The southern accent takes them all in - that and seemingly someone they would trust with their lives - you don't have to understand what he is saying to be
charmed. J.T. <3 & Stephen 1/2 <3.

Phuz1 wrote: Agreed. The pre-merge editing obsession with the Exile Island was just as irritating. We were force fed all the "strategy" of this alliance, and it doesnt claim one victim.... Perhaps they were trying to mislead the viewer that this would be the controlling alliance in the game, but that was STILL pointless, having now seen Timbira self-destruct, and Brendan deciding to try work with JT basically out of his desire to go with the "good guys." JT/Stephen just tell us (every chance they get now) at how they're controlling the game and we never really saw the interactions with Erinn or even Coach and Debbie that clue us in to why. When Erinn was on Exile Island, and mentioned how hard it was because the rest of her alliance was enjoying a reward... it was kind of like... WTF? Your alliance? They've shown very few "alliance" talks with the 4 of them if any at all.... Just Jalapao realizing she's alone in this game, and offering her some safety for the time being.... at least that's how it's beed edited to us. |
