Nah, that'd be too obvious.

First of all, they wouldn't have spent so long building this Exile Alliance up for it to not have any impact on the game post-merge. Secondly the previews are always misleading, it was all "They could take us out one by one"..."We could take them out one by one"...the operative word being 'could', the Exile Island will make sure this doesn't happen.

There are plenty of exciting scenarios set up for the game post-merge. We have Joe and Erin, both on the outskirts of their tribes and formed a small alliance while at Exile, what makes this funnier is that Joe believes he has a hidden immunity idol, little does he know its fake. We then have Brendan, Sierra, Stephen and Taj in the Exile Alliance, which nobody else knows about, but we also have JT on the outskirts of this alliance because he thinks he's aligned with Stephen and Taj, so that is bound to throw up some interesting scenarios. Then we have Coach, Debra and Tyson...one of them is bound to fall victim to the Exile Alliance, it just depends how long it takes them to figure out that the Exile alliance exists...because if they do there is nothing stopping Coach and Tyson from aligning with Joe and Erin and even possibly JT.

I think it is going to be a very fun post-merge season, hopefully leading to an exciting end-game.
