I watched the 3D episode, and I wanted to shoot everyone. Except Adam, because he is LOVE

But not telling them everything? I could've sworn the last new episode of BSG was mostly Ellen Tigh (the long awaited 5th cylon who we all thought was
killed for assisting the Cylons by her husband, who himself was a cylon) doing little more than talking and telling. Oh, and we learned that there weren't
actually 12 humanoid cylon models. There were really 8 of the type that are referred to in the "rundown" at the beginning of each episode. And these
final five aren't the same (despite what's been suggested in the rundown). Don't get me wrong, I think BSG is amazing. But BSG and LOST are two
peas in a pod that doesn't include most of the other critically-acclaimed (or for that matter, popular) television series. Don't be the crab laughing
at his brother for walking sideways.

When will people get over THE SOPRANOS? If it had ended after Season 3, I could understand. If it had ended after Season 2, I would understand. But seasons 4
through 6.5 DID exist, and don't even get me started on Chase's I'm-too-afraid-to-commit ending. Straight wack.

The ending was perfect for The Sopranos. I love it, it works so well. I love it TV shows don't feel like they have to spoon feed you every little thing.

What are "Things said by LOST and BSG viewers after last week's episode?", Alex. |

Chuck's awesome. I view the 3D ep as being the writers fixing a mistake behind the 3D stunt, cleaning up the shooting of the Fulcrum agent and hoping no
one noticed. Watch last week's ep: the Chuck in suburbia set to the Talking Heads Once in a Lifetime, and you'll be back in the Buy More.
I hear you on the not explaining things issue. The difference is that when BSG does it, no matter how stupid it seems initially, upon reflection, anything they do is anchored in a previous ep. With Lost, I get the sense the writers were pulling things out their asses just to stay on the air. If there's any show that benefitted from the strike, it's Lost, because it gave them time to come up with a coherent game plan. |

There's a big difference between spoon-feeding every little thing and not being able to come up with an ending. It's like Stephen King ghostwrote the
finale. If the second-half of the series is going to meander all over the gods-damned place, you could at least give it a definitive ending. Plus, plastering
JOURNEY all over the final scene seemed like something out of the GREY'S ANATOMY playbook. Lame.

I keep thinking that you are takling about BSG but you aren't.

One thing I love about BSG is the way the confront moral issues and no one is ever right 100%.
I love the dire times require dire actions attitude. But I really hated Helo, when he got whiny about the planned genocide of the cyclons. |

BTW, I nearly quit BSG several times. Same with my brother. The only reason I'm sticking it out is there are only a handful of episodes left and I've
tolerated it this far to not know how it ends. My brother quit at the last Gaeta episode and I talked him into at least seeing it out.

Come on, Vic, did BSG create numerous viral marketing sites in order to expand their own mythology over the course of several seasons, or hire a plant to
pretend to be a character from one of those viral sites, and have them speak at comic con in the middle of a panel? no. Lost is clearly more in love with their
own supernatural/mythological/self created/constantly retconned nonsense.

A planned end date is what helped LOST, not the strike. If you know when the story has to end, you can work backwards and parse out new information accordingly. I would also disagree about anything BSG does being anchored in a previous episode. Or else there'd be no need to "retcon." (look it up, if the term is unfamiliar). |

But BSG did make some terrible webisodes.

most shows have webisodes these days, so I'm not counting that as part of being up their own asses in their own retarded ass made up mythology.

Call me when they decide to do a spinoff of LOST that takes place years before the LOST series to fill in some of the gaps of the LOST story. Or when they make a 2-hour movie about The Others to fill in other gaps about the LOST story. |

Viral marketing is genius. Gets people involved. Yet another chalk on the board for the inventiveness and fan appreciation by Cuse/Lindelof!
