Great article and I am very happy they are choosing not to do another All-Stars!

I don't know if they're 'choosing' not to do another all-stars as much as acknowledging that they haven't cast an exceptional team since
Dustin & Kandice in TAR10. I can't think of anyone on 12 or 13 I'd want to see race again tbh.

"One of my favorite challenges was in, I think it was Vietnam, where they had to plow In a muddy field with a big ox. Oh, it was the
Philippines. They had to plow for a clue and the contestant was getting so frustrated and he said "My ox is broken!" I'm always
surprised. We have these ideas and what the contestants do with them is off the chart. You can't imagine."
Thanks Elise<33333 See, even Elise loves the ox task so they should really come back to the Philippines, pronto. Even the other side of the detour (guiding hundreds of ducks) would have been epic as well. Too bad no other team chose it. Oh wellz. |

I loved Kelly & Christy and Toni & Dallas, but they're not all-stars at all. TAR14 looks like it has many All-Stars in the making. |

I'd love to see Kynt/Vyxsin again, but I agree that no one from last season is all-star worthy. They could bring back other teams that didn't do it
the first time, like Colin/Christie, Ken/Gerard, the Bowling Moms, etc. And Charla/Mirna are welcome again and again.

TAR12: Azene siblings, Gothies, and Ronald & Christina. Maaaayyyybe Nicolas & Donald, if Donald would be up to it.Your Nate and Jenealousy is showing if you think they are less deserving of being cast (or more likely to be cast) than Azaria/Hendekea |

The majorities there don't want them anywhere near their screens again. Just saying, ADC. I really do like you a lot (mainly since you're the most astute, articulate poster on this board), but just as Margie & Luke don't have to be your cup of tea, Nathan & Jennifer don't have to be mine. And they're not. |

And they're not.Whileit's too early to pick All-Star-worthy teams from this cast, but I'm not blind (or deaf, hohoho) enough to think Margie/Luke wouldn't be the first pick from this cast (unless they completely flame out in the next three legs) - and you can see how Nate/Jen are also fairly obvious picks, especially compared to Azaria/Hendekea - Post-TAR11 there's been 3 sibling teams already - if Tammy/Victor keep up the pace, A/H will be the lowest ranking ones (and were in fewer episodes than anyone in the TAR11 cast) - Post-TAR11 there've been a limited number of couples to make it far except TK/Rachel (won + boring), The Goths (likely pick), Ken/Tina (story-arc ended) - this season the couples except Amanda/Kris seem weak, and if Kris/Jon couldn't make the first All-Stars, there's no hope for this Kris either. - Since the Goths would seem very likely picks, why wouldn't you cast their biggest rivals? Who else would you choose to fill the loved/hated Romber role so far? The Producers could cast 11 likeable teams if they wanted, but unlike some fans they know that it's not just a behaviour contest. |

I thought it was interesting Bert and Elise had a list of 20 teams they wanted.
How crazy would it be to have to keep tabs on 80 people running around. |

I for one, don't want the Goths to come back. Extremely overrated and offered little entertainment value.
Strip away all the outlandish clothes and makeup and you've got yourself another Jon Vito/Jill (who by the way was another wasted All-Star spot) And the fact that they auditioned for the Asian version of the race makes them mediahoish and desperate. Total turn off. |
