If someone doesn't say they're gay, a lot of people will automatically assume that person is straight. Since Spencer likes sports, then to some straight people he has to be straight, because of course, gay men don't do sports unless it's ogling the guys.
I know Spencer isn't really a flaunty gay type, but can anyone really picture him with a woman?
I think Spencer was probably too young and not sorted out in his life to go on Survivor. I think he's probably lucky with the edit he's had, because they could probably make him look bad if they wanted (since he's close to Sydney and Joe), as they have with some other recent Survivor gays. They probably didn't because he seems like a nice guy. I know Carolina couldn't stand him but most of her comments were just about him whining.
It looked like he didn't even try to keep himself in the game. I thought he was a "super-fan"
