Standing center stage with a long gown, almost reminds me of Vonzell. A stylish start, nice understated first line, although the first held note was a bit shouty. Building into the second verse, she brings just the right amount of volume and looks the part. (Yeah, I suppose I'd have to agree with all the Broadway comments; she definitely acts a song when she's in this zone.) She melismizes the last line, to the delight of the audience.

Randy: First song I loved, this not as much. Didn't like the arrangement. You were trying for things that weren't there. Great melody, you didn't have to try to be something that it wasn't.
Paula: (Standing ovation.) I just wanted to tell you. I want you to know, how you orchestrated your vocals. Beautiful. You used what I hoped you would use. You have come. Welcome to your dream, Syesha. This is it for you.
Syesha starts to cry on stage.
Paula stands and claps.
Simon: Syesha, I have to be fair. And I'm going to agree with Paula.
Syesha cries uncontrollably.
The audience shrieks its approval.
