David Archuleta. With You by Chris Brown. I didn't believe the spolier. I still don't. This cannot be real.  Well, at least he's acting nervous about the selection. He actually hits the first line on target without an
intro line, although he sounds absolutely horrid bumbling his way through the signature Chris Brown guy-to-gal "rap" lines. It's as if he's
translated it from Chris' language into his own. This has B&O Railroad meets Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe written all over it. Fortunately
there's a chorus, which sort-of saves him. He can't mess that up, I suppose, although he tries to melismize it. Yuck.
A 4. Randy: Check it out, baby, I applaud the fact you tried something new and young. But it wasn't the right song. Seeing you singing "My boo" I couldn't believe it. Audience: NO! Paula: Perfect. Right tone of voice. You should be singing this. This is a part of who you are. Shorten the phrases. I think you did a great job. Simon: I applaud you that you didn't do a shrieky ballad. However, it was like a chihuahua trying to be a tiger.
Audience: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!111!!! Simon: Not really you. Awkward, the dancing, the um ... Randy: Not quite you. |
