Apparently it was the "choose your strongest member and have them hold lots of weight" challenge that Colby and Mike were chosen for in Australian Outback. The prize was apparently a map to a closer water source or something.

I heard this years ago but I didn't know where this news coming from. It was mentioned in Burnett's book. Hatch and Joel were the water bearers (ala Colby and Mike). Pagong won when Joel outlasted Richard.

I honestly don't remember hearing about them cutting a RC in Ep1 for time. I thought they had always planned to just have a RC/IC mix on the first Ep.

It was a fun thing where Jeff came to camp. Technically, i don't think it was a challenge though.

Posts: 74 (04/22/09 12:55 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Yeah thanks Chad it was basically the same thing that happened at the final four in Australian Outback where they all weighed themselves only Jeff came to camp instead of them just following tree mail instructions. It was in addition to the Overnight Boat Ride w/ a Family Member, so there were technically two "rewards" although this was much less of one than what Sean got. The players had to guess how much weight they had lost, and the closest person (Colleen) won a Candy Bar. It was a challenge in the sense that there was a prize. Even though some of those comments came during confessional, I don't think they were particularily entertaining. Maybe good TV but it showed me a mean streak that I am not really comfortable with. I have the feeling that he has made equally rude, mean comments to others during the course of the game but we haven't been shown them because it would take away our "Coach hate." I know, thats my opinion but for what it's worth, it is my opinion. Tyson's mouth is going to drop to the ground when he gets "owned" by Sierra and is voted out.... AND I will be cheering... LOL I'd love it if what you said came true. However, I can't help but remember Mariano in All Stars. He was absolutely mean in his confessionals. He was mean to everyone but Amber. He stuck to his F4 alliance but he was cruel to even them, although he didn't say it to their face. I'd almost rather see Tyson voted out for that reason. I don't see a reason to be mean, ever. I hate Coach, but I haven't really seen him rip someone a new asshole for no reason other than to feel better about themselves, like Tyson does.

Those two are way too cocky for so many options left for the others. Neither suspect anything - tonight will be epic!! I hope they show some insight into Erinn's hatred, too- but I still suspect it's sour grapes over Brendan and snuggling and jealousy of her 'rival'. Same with Coach and Brendan... All this drama over Sierra! She's playing coach like a champ. What a little minx!:D I predict she works her mojo on JT tonight. He does not stand a chance! :D
