But Pronst is a Senior Editor. His favourites always get good editing, those he doesn't like not so much. It's no coincidence, for example, that Probst thought Matt should have won Amazon and the season was edited so that most viewers would agree with him, rather than 6/7 jurors.

I'd understand is editing had a general practice of ignoring UTR or boring females. But then Candice S13 and Corinne S17 do stuff (make a big strategic move or play the villian) that usually get rewarded when men do it, and they still get the short end of the stick compared to Jonathan, Ozzy, Randy, or Matty.

Debbie said in her Reality Blurred interview that "casting warned that Probst wouldn't like her." And no surprise, the MILF Principal gets edited like a middle-aged Amber.

Survivor Borneo did a good job highlighting the backgrounds and idiosyncrasies of each contestant. Nowadays the editing is just focused on the 'you're gonna love this guy' characters, and the challenges. It's getting boring.

That's because in Survivor Borneo only Rich and maybe Sue were actually playing the game. I wouldn't mind it if they cut out some of the Reward Challenges though. Some of those aren't essential. Early on, in Borneo, they cut out a reward challenge that was similar to Outback's episode 3 Reward Challenge.
