In answer to Orangeena's question about strep throat. (Since my daughter has had it nine times, I consider myself somewhat of an expert.) Strep is
considered to be very contagious, which I find to be interesting. Even though my daughter has had it so many times nobody else in our family came down with
it. Also at my work a certain employee has had it three times and no one there has ever become sick either. Once it is diagnosed and a person is put on
antibiotics the strep is not considered to be contageous after 24 hours have elapsed. The patient usually also feels much, much better after only 24 hours.
And although Sierra complained about a fever of, I think it was 102, that is not very high. A high temperature (my daughter's ran about 103 to 104) and
sore throat are the two big giveaways.
