It's absurd that they're going in the day of the event (or the day before at the earliest) and planning a menu. It's no wonder that the red team
was stuck with all that sea bass... Nicole Miller was such an unreasonable bitch. For her to call an hour or so before the event and demand that the poulets be
BONED was completely out of control. That is something you don't throw at the kitchen at the last minute!

Marco's finger wagging in every single confessional is so very annoying. It's only the second episode and I can barely pay attention to what he's saying anymore because I'm looking at those ridiculous skater boy shoes and counting how many seconds he can go without waving his finger. |

The show again came in 6th place behind CBS, FOX, ABC, UNIVISION and the CW. I don't see how NBC can keep it on the schedule another week.
Too bad. I really like it. |

Nicole Miller was a twat. I wonder if they brought it up during the critics review that she was the reason that salmon was sent out and not the bass.
And you gotta love the ultra-PC, up their own asses New York jet set for knowing that the Chilean Sea Bass is endangered and feigning righteousness indignation about it. "oh... my... GOD!!! Did you say CHILEAN SEA BASS??? YOU DO KNOW THEY ARE ENDANGERED!!! I think I'm going to faint!" Meanwhile they are using child labor to make their clothes... You just know that Marco and Anthony Bourdain have gone fishing for Chilean Sea Bass together. |

I really like this show and when I saw the reviews I was shocked by how negative they were, but one review that mentioned a BBC's show "Last
Restaurant Standing" explained why, the show is flawed it turned a great idea of 9 teams with 9 separate restaurants into a two restaurant war which
can't emphasize the strength of each couple. This show is doomed now that I know about "Last Restaurant Standing" I want to have BBC America to
see how a proper show is run.

--------------------------------------------- So I caught the first epi online. Not at all what I expected. I really like Marco. I don't hate any of the contestants yet either. Sorry NBC isn't able to market it better.

He's so helpful, teaching the teams entree tips & how to bone the baby chicken! lol How the hell are they gonna be able to run these restaurants when they get down to 4, then 2 on a team? A full team can barely run them as it is?!?! |

Marco is only 44? Wow, he must have smoked a million cigarettes in the blazing sun at some point in his life.
As for Nicole Miller, if you sell a product to the public, it really doesn't serve you well to be such a bitch about a fish. I didn't even know Sea Bass was endangered. If my guest was okay with it, I'd shut my trap. Better than old salmon. NM will probably have a hard time finding a caterer now. |

The right couple left. They were next to useless and one thing that did not come out in the conversation with Marco at the end was the replacement of the
offered sea bass with 5 day old frozen salmon without even checking with the diner. That was a huge strike as well, even more so than that miserable vegetarian
pasta that was served. I knew they were going with the editing they were getting. I would say the front runners at this point are the older couple that won
last week and the married couple that won this week. But both will have to step up their game because what they have shown so far are not that great. I'm
still waiting for a critic to actually praise all the courses of food.
Marco is like a laser beam. He cuts through all the crap and has this restrained simmering focus while saying something quietly that's scarier than someone screaming into your face.
