I had thought Maggie too, actually. But seriously, though.

Have we discussed who called up the newpaper place to look up the Wakefield stories? Killer doing some homework or random person interested?

Is it just me or does the bottom left look like a knife?

He says that Booth's death is a mystery and that the viewers will see Booth again and that he liked playing the role because he is usually typecast as a killer. Why couldn't Sean just have confirmed that Booth accidentally killed himself. In the preview for episode 5, Malcolm gasps after pulling open a shower curtain. Perhaps he sees Booth's dead body and we will finally be able to put to rest whether or not Booth is dead. |

Two things I have been thinking about this lovely Tuesday morning:
1) I'm curious if the pattern will continue that the only dead bodies that are found (so far Hunter and Kelly) are ones who are not involved in the wedding. I really think we're going to end up seeing a totally gruesome wedding scene where all the wedding party and guests are in place... as corpses. Maybe even cousin Ben's head will take a spot in a pew. Under this theory it would still be possible that other characters will witness the deaths of people in the wedding, but their bodies would have to be left behind for the killer to take. Other bodies that could be discovered by the guests would be Nikki, Shane, Jimmy and Sheriff. And maybe the bottom half of Uncle Marty. Also, this would fit with what Sean Rogerson (Booth) said about seeing Booth again. Sure, we'll see his dead body standing up with all the other groomsmen, the headless reverend, etc. I think this would totally fit the Abby-is-deranged (though not necessarily the killer - that could be Sheriff) scenario, where Henry is forced to put on his tux and walk down the aisle to find her waiting for him under the veil. But wait, Trish isn't really dead and she saves the day and she and Henry can live happily ever after even though all their friends and family are dead. 2) I think in some way the cause or method of death relates back to a flaw or sin that the killer perceives the victims to have or have committed. I don't know enough about Ben or the Reverend, but Uncle Marty was a womanizer and his whole bottom half was cut off (CBS may have had a hard time showing a castration). Kelly was depressed and vandalized her own body in her obsession with Wakefield, so she was hung and her eyes were "tattooed" red. Lucy was shallow, so her beauty was burned off. Hunter was vain and greedy, so his handsome face was shot off and he died next to a bag of money. And Joel. Well, Joel was lame, so he died in a lame way. Maybe some of those are a stretch, but let's see if the deaths fit this pattern as we go on. Maybe Malcolm will be poisoned or get stuck in some sort of trap that only a fat person would get stuck in. Maybe Richard and/or Katherine will have some sort of S&M related-death. Maybe Madison will get burned through a magnifying glass or stabbed with a broken teacup or impaled by a ouija board. Ok, maybe not that one, but you get the idea. |

Booth is dead. seeing him again...yes as a corpse. I like the idea that his body would be put for fatboy to find him. (makes hime paranoid...who knows.... creewpy "i know who you are and I saw what you did" etc..) EVERY WEEK someone dies. I think everyone here is giving the writter too much credit for twists turns etc... (fake deaths on and on) I also think we are going to be dissapointed in the ending...(with many loose ends and semi plots NEVER expalined) Leaving important plot stories on the cutting room floor...doesn't bode well. What 10 secs for Trish to get a text saying the girl was going to seattle for a day or so.... ARGHHHH. is that so hard. Things we know from what has been set up for us. AT least 1 person dies each eppy. Wakefiled murders will tie in somehow (otherwise why bother introducing them in the first place) AGAIN ...EVERYTHING (killers motive) REVOLVES around ABBY. our narrator and reson for the series...she returns home Some of the murders will be set up as self inflicted (hanging girl and booth) Uncle Marty money will have some revelence (unless that too is lying on the cutting room floor) again otherwise why show it TWICE. (was he running from someone or TO pay off someone?) Richard ... why are we being shown he a sadist? to caste suspsion on him when gold digger is found hanging. |

I like the whole corpse wedding thing. That would've been even better to have a text or note from Lucy saying "see you at the wedding." It
would've matched Uncle Marty's text. Also, I imagine there will be flashbacks at some point (even just to earlier times on the island, murders, etc),
so I wouldn't be surprised to see a bunch of dead characters again.

Yeah, if this were a competently done show, I'd be wondering constantly why Henry & the sadist happened to be right there at the pool, who played the
aria, why no one misses the dead people, why the eyes were dyed, how everyone can be so bland and similar, etc.
Unfortunately, as it appears to have been edited by either Coach of the shower-installer from Halliburton, I just can't bring myself to invest the energy. The sole motivation to watch is to see how many times my jaw can drop in an episode over the cheesiness. Makes for a great drinking game. I guess that's one way to attract viewers. |
