Shea was mad at Abby because #1 she thought her DAD was the killer (with everyone else) and that he had kidnapped Madison. Her not wanting Abby to question Madison futher about a tramatic event wasn't being suspicious it was being a nervous motherYou're wrong about that. Henry found Richard's body in the previous episode. At the time that Shea snapped at Abby, they knew that Richard was dead and he could not have been Madison's kidnapper.
Madison was told by WAKEFIELD that if she didn't "play along" and lie her mom (Shea) would dissappear like her Dad did. So Madison went to Trish her Aunt to make sure Shea was OK etc... then confided her "secret" to her Aunt. Kids will often tell someone other than a parnet when thsy have lied because they are scared of getting into trouble.Wakefield seems to be the most likely person to have kidnapped Madison but we didn't actually see him do it. In any case, I still suspect Shea as the second killer. Is it really a coincidence that Richard was killed just after Trish revealed the Richard/Katherine affair to Shea or that Katherine was found dead just after Shea lashed out at her? Why would Shea leave the Inn on foot supposedly to go see a psychic when there is a killer on the loose? We didn't see much grieving from Shea after her father was murdered. In the 5 episodes that Thomas was alive, I don't remember a single conversation between him and Shea. Shea has been under the radar. We don't see much of her except when she is doting over Madison. For such a doting mother, she didn't seem to put much effort into finding Madison. Abby did a lot more than she did. Shea has a motive for stopping the wedding and killing the other Wellingtons and that is to become the sole heir to the Wellington fortune. We don't know who closed the pool cover and tried to drown Trish. Most are assuming that either Henry or Richard did it.
