The fact that the blood was just starting to "SEEP" onto the chair (heh heh) makes me believe that she was killed, like, seconds before Shane walked over to her. WTF? I really hope this show ties up all its loopholes, but it seems almost impossible. Who the fuck could have sneaked in, stuck the shears in Katherine's back without making any noise, leave the room, ALL WITH SHANE STANDING RIGHT THERE?! Unless Katherine was already dead and the shears were meant to just hold her in place or something...but then why was the blood just starting to pour out of her? Oh and also, something to disprove my Maggie theory... if she's the killer, then I seriously doubt she'd be able to fit through those tiny tunnels to put Beth's body in there (okay Brendan, yes she would be too fat to do this). Unless maybe Beth was already cut up and then crawling around trying to find a way to escape, which would explain all the trails of blood. But eh... that death left me kind of confused as well. But, let's be honest, would we have really wanted it any other way? After this episode, I wouldn't be surprised if it was Maggie. She seemed to pop up enough for us to remember she was there, but was gone enough to actually do the murders. For not showing it happen, Katherine's death was actually kind of cool. I hope that they show the unseen murders in flashbacks once the killer is revealed. I remember an article saying we'd find out the killer before they do, so I hope the reveal is soon. And, seriously, Chloe and Cal are breaking every horror movie cliche. Sex while helping a guy? Do you really want to press your luck with that?

Maggie easily could have pulled that off since she was in the dark with Shane and Mrs. Wellington the whole time and have had set that up without being noticed.

If Beth was really terrified like she was acting who would she have gone off with alone that she would have trusted? She would have trusted Chloe, Shea, and Trish. She wouldn't have wandered alone with Jimmy, Shane, Nikki, or Maggie b/c she didn't know them. Katherine's death I think was "sit" down talk that she had w/ one of hte girls or Henry. She sat down, talked about the cheating, and they killed her. I defo think its Trish or Shea now. Trish being so deserpate to leave and then Shea just wandering in the woods when Abby was being chased through the tunnel. We saw that hte tunnel leads into the woods so either one could have slipped into the tunnel, chased Abby into the room Madison was at. Leave the tunnel and proceed to go from there. Also with Madison being alive and the killer knowing she was in the tunnel might prove the killer is somebody who doesn't want Madison dead at all. Like an Aunt or Mother.

After Henry/Jimmy meet up with Sully/Danny and Sully says they found Beth, Henry says "How did..." then catches himself and quickly says "What happened?" Almost as if he was gonna either ask "How did you find her?" or "How did she die?" even though Sully hadn't said she was dead yet.

Spoiler [+] I don't think Beth wandered off. She was in the kitchen with Sully and the black guy and that's when she had her final line. They then hear Henry yelling in the other room and go to see what's going on. Beth was behind the two guys, then you never see her again. Next thing you know, there is a pool of blood in the kitchen. So I think she was probably killed then. Someone probably snuck threw that secret tunnel room and slashed her throat or something and then dragged her into the tunnel leaving a blood trail behind. The question is how did whoever took Beth into that tunnel get that food rack back in front of the door that Henry moved before he opened that door to the tunnel? Unless they killed Beth, dragged down there, came back went into the kitchen put the rack infront of the door despite the fact there was a blood trail revealing that there was a door there anyway. I still say it's Nikki that's the killer. I'm sure I saw her come into the Inn with Sully but then we never see her again and no one mentions her. I'll have to rewatch the episode to see if it was her that came in with Sully, maybe it was Beth that was with him and I'm mistaken.

If the sheriff wanted to keep people on the island, he could have done it without kidnapping a child. Or if his plan was to trap the killer in the crawlspace, there was only the one gate, which would have left the murderer trapped where they could still get to Madison. Not to mention the fact that she would have been down there when the killer stuck Beth's body parts in the nearby crawlspace, yet nothing happened to her. And does he not own a battery-operated tape recorder that he could turn on and put down there instead? Would he have gone to the cabin where the disfigured deputy was staying after putting her there???? That's ignorance. This show is ignorance.

I'm guessing this show will pull a Nightmare on Elm St: Freddy's dead on us. Abby will think that she's Wakefield's daughter and pull a martyr role. The killer or Wakefield who may still be alive will look at her and laugh. Tell her she's not the daughter and then kill her. Abby - I know I'm your daughter. Wakefield - I didn't have a daughter. . .I had a son! *Killer comes and kills Abby * OR Abby - I know I'm your daughter. I know you slept wiht my mom and she had me. Wakefield - It wasn't your mom that I got pregnant it was _____'s mom. * Trish comes up and kills Abby * OR * Abby and Trish get in a fight after Abby realizes Trish is the killer. Henry comes in w/ a gun * Trish - henry kill Abby she's Wakefield's daughter she's the killer. Abby - No, Wakefield had an affair with Trish's mom. Trish's dad got even with him and framed him for the murders the real killer was Julia but Wellington hid that. Trish found out and began to kill. Trish - She's a liar! Henry - oh my god! what do I do!! Girl!!! I don't know what to do!! Oh my god!! Stressful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! Shea was such a bitch to Katherine, I guess justified, but still. :p Speaking of UTR, Nikki makes Beth seem like the star of the show. (Well, she really is) I find it odd Kelly is the only islander that has died so far. Trish, Jimmy, Abby, and Henry are all safe until the last episode. All of them are either way too important or too suspicious to kill off. The Sheriff & Shea are my predictions for "main" characters that will bite the dust soon. Does anyone remember seeing the preview where a woman is holding a cup and drops it? I think "Splash" will be the end of Shea. No clue how far Madison will make it, the whole way? As soon as her bullshit kidnapping has a conclusion? Cal & Chloe are in their own world most of the time. They are either there for comedic relief and or they have some big part in all of this. Maggie, Nikki, Shane, Danny, and Sully seem like the obvious remaining fodder...but who knows with this show. For instance, why the hell is Nikki even included in the 25 suspects when she's in only every other episode tops. The thing about this show is with so many people, character development/survival makes you question everyone. Maggie & Nikki seem so pointless, but both are heading into Episode 10. If they aren't important, why are they still around?

That has to take a while to cut Beth up (at least cut her badly in the kitchen to leave such a blood trail), and then drag her into a crawl space several hundred feet, push her body into what appears to be a ventilation shaft for 50 feet or so, around a corner, and then double back and leave a similar blood trail in the opposite direction, only to then return to the mansion and shut the door and push a cart in front of it. How much fucking time did the killer have if it wasn't some throwaway character like Nikki who would have done it offscreen? The wording of the diary page: "Sara had my child" is ominous on purpose. There's no way it's Abby, and furthermore I'd bet they were ambiguous on the gender (child going either way) on purpose, further solidifying my "Henry is the killer" idea. He looked disturbed when Abby was about to read the page that may have given him away (even though it didn't, only using the word child). And he's just too driven when it comes to putting himself in the places of the murder time and time again. Leaving the sheriff to go back to the candlewick by himself is extremely suspicious, as is his aggressive behavior towards Shane. I sincerely hope the reveal brings together this Wakefield storyline.

I'm assuming that means Chloe probably really does disappear at some point, since the only reason I could see Cal getting that angry is if Chloe is missing/dead. Also, I don't think Maggie's connection to Abby/Henry when they were children has ever been explained. All we know is she knew them when they were kids and she runs the inn. I still think she's the killer LoL
