You are referring to the assassin's blog that the executive producer has written after each episode. In each of them, he describes the work that went into filming the death scene of each suspect and how each of the actors who play the suspect that dies are notified that their time on the show is over. If any of the deaths turn out to be fake, the producer would certainly not say that in his blog so that isn't any proof.

Henry seems to be the favorite for the murderer here but I think that it is more likely to be Jimmy. In the flashback, Abby's mother said that Sheriff Mills hated Jimmy with a passion while dating Abby. The reason for the hatred could be because Jimmy was the illegitimate child that Abby's mom had with Wakefield. The Sheriff insensitively, under the influence of alcohol, told Abby that maybe her mom got what she deserved. I'm sure that the sheriff knew about Sarah's child with Wakefield and drunk people tend to reveal truths that they normally don't want other people to know. Also, Jimmy has that "killer smile" and the "Hey you!" scene was strange. Except for when Cole was murdered, Jimmy's whereabouts haven't been accounted for for all the other murders. Someone else could have killed Cole Harkin. Shane could have likely killed Cole Harkin since he knew where Cole was. He could have gone there with the intention of murdering JD, didn't find JD there and killed Cole instead. It isn't gospel that everyone that is murdered is killed by the Harper's Island killer. Curiously, the recap clip for episode 8 shows 11 people murdered and Cole isn't among the 11 but JD is included.
