Maybe Wakefield really came back for his daughter, not the mother or something similar to that...

Posts: 121 (05/28/09 8:59 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I liked that this episode provided us with a lot more of the backstory to the original Wakefield murders, and Spoiler [+] I know people had definitely guessed that there might have been a connection between Abby's mom and Wakefield. I'm definitely getting more and more interested each week. I'm not normally very good at picking out the right suspect, but I'm definitely just enjoying the ride the show has us on and can't wait to see who it is in the end.

At the beginning, Beth and him do some flirting because of how they hugged last episode. I knew from just there he would die. Then there was a ton of focus on him and the money. Also, happy music was playing when he died. It looks like no one mentioned it so far, at the end of the episode, Madison is reading a letter that was slid under the door and she walks into a room saying "Daddy" and then once she enters the door slams shut and it goes to credits. No Cal and Chloe at all this episode.

Spoiler [+] only 1 death when the title (thrwack, splack, sizzle) implies at least THREE deaths which also leaves bethgoddess hopelessly single again AND to top it off no cal/chloe again?? WORST EPISODE BY FAR

She's gotten a lot more screen time in the last two episodes, and I'm not sure that bodes well for her. I honestly thought she would end up dead this episode. And I know a lot of you wouldn't be happy if she was gone. I also missed Cal and Chloe this episode. I honestly think they are my favourite characters.

I was debating whether to mention the ending just because: Spoiler [+] for one thing, I hate that little girl and try to pretend like she's not on the show and second, I wasn't sure if that door closing is going to be considered her 'death'. I think I read on here somewhere that Madison's death wouldn't be shown since she was just a kid and they didn't want to show anything like that on tv. And I didn't want to start a whole Booth is she/isn't she dead thing without everyone having seen the episode yet. We probably won't know till next week anyway though. If she's not dead then it was really a useless scene given everything else that went on. It really wasn't suspenseful, it was kind of a who cares reaction for me.

He's the one to discover the reverend's ear thing while 'taking a piss' he was also there when they got Kelly's Body He is physically strong enought Has access to weapon He can also gain the victim's faith, as a law officer, easier to kill then It just seem weirds that, while the wedding rearsal is taking place, he finds the reverend's ear piece,and this lead to the discovery of reverend fain. It's like if the Killer didn't want the Sherrif to be at the rearsal. Anyway just a theory, what do you guys think?

So Abby's mom and Wakefield dated when she was younger, she fled to the island, and he came after her later (at which point the sheriff asked his deputies to "teach him a lesson"). When Wakefield fought back, Sheriff Dad charged him with attempted murder of a police officer and had him incarcerated for years. So the guy comes back for revenge, strings up the mother and kills her, but why the hell did he kill 5 other people (including Kelly's mom)?!? Were they just random bystanders or is there backstory there too? Also, what was with the explosion at the docks that scarred the deputy? Was that a distraction so Wakefield could go on a killing spree (which ultimately almost ended up killing Abby but Jimmy intervened)? Also, when the hell are we going to get a similar backstory episode when it comes to the death of Henry and JD's parents? It was nice to hear JD's story post-parents death (living with Uncle Marty, attempting suicide, and being sent to a mental institution), but I get the feeling that the deaths of the parents themselves are significant. Interesting...
