The only problem I have with Adam--outside of the god awful shrieks--is that he is very detached from his performances. Even Mad World. It's as though he has polished, spit and shined his piece of diamond in the rough to where it's on the verge of not being a diamond anymore. I would like to see if he could actually rough it up, not have such a "perfect" performance. The overly orchestrated performances leave me cold sometimes. Why is he not being called out FOR THAT.


forgive for launching into Adam in a Lil hate thread.

If one must nitpick...yeah, I guess one can say Adam is too "controlled", but this is supposed to be a singing competition, not the sob-story competition, so let's start with the unfounded praises Danny has received all season for being such a mediocre karaoke singer...I'm not a fan of Anoop, but he most certainly is a much better singer than Danny, even Matt.

As for Lil....I actually felt bad for her last night and tonight; last night because the judges were, IMO, overly nasty towards her (which would be fine if they were equally tough on others guilty of the same isssues they faulted her for::::Danny:::, but that wasn't the case), then tonight they couldn't even bother with the suspense, booted her off the stage practically as soon as the show started. She may have been delusional and coped some 'tudes, but that really was mean.
