His sophmore album drops on May 5. The first single is called Fight for Life and is actually going to radio next week.
(keeps fingers crossed that he survives the Idol second album jinx)

I like the single.
It's a bit over produced and I wish there was more of Elliott's voice but I like it. It's catchy, it could be another radio hit like "Wait For You." |

Here's hoping he is more successful with his second cd because he deserves to be.
Kelly Clarkson is the only one to have more success with her second cd v the first. Maybe Elliot will be the second. |

There will never be another "from-out-of-nowhere" contestant like him again.After Season 5 ended and the public dumped Daughtry, loved Elliott and crowned Taylor that's probably when they fired up the major manipulation guns. No more unceremoniously dumping TCO and loving random fodder for America. They must oblige TPTB. |

You can buy the new single - Fight For Love on iTunes (and the duet with Taylor as well). Both released today.
