Posts: 9162 (04/23/09 7:41 PM) Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	i don't see how JT has ever been a distraction. it's just that we have brains in our heads. the intent has been he's in danger all the time. even his "would you say we're in control of this game" has been set as a question with hesitancy, and Stephen having control over it. Tyson and Coach were distractions -telling us they're winners, going out of their way in the story to avoid how dumb these moves are. And look for next episode for JT to have major doubt when Coach talks about that handshake thing. I'm trying to remember if Stephen has been given insight from other players like Sierra and JT have.

You're really good at quoting stuff you made up, by the way. Seriously, what would Erinn puking mean? Why would they emphasize that? You think they are thinking "Oh, if Erinn loses we can show her throwing up. If not, we'll have to cut it out." Seriously what does throwing up have anything to do with chances of winning? Your reasoning for thinking she has no chance is completely in your head. And to Seacrest, did I ever say Tom was a distraction? No, I did not. If JT wins, I'll eat my hat, but I think Stephen and Erinn are the only ones worth looking at. And this week, Erinn had a far better episode than either JT or Stephen.

Posts: 90 (04/23/09 7:47 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Perhaps it isn't JT distracting Stephen, but Stephen distracting JT...why was it critical to show Erinn bonding with just Jt, when this episode she was tied strategically to Stephen and Taj? I mean I understand it shows her joining the alliance, but JT is the one building jury connections- Stephen is not. Stephen may take out JT or vice versa (this episode showed that JT was willing to play the game and isn't all talk- plus he isnt shown as cocky as Stephen). I think they both may go far, but this episode dropped Stephen just a bit closer to JT in my mind. Contenders- 1. Erinn (Yeah I'm taking a risk...although I have a hunch she may get too risky and will get booted next episode) 2. Stephen 3. JT

Same as it has been for the past umpteen weeks (or at least since everyone jumped off the Sierra bandwagon). I'm sticking with JT as my pick, but certainly wouldn't be surprised in the least if Stephen wins.

They just glanced over it quickly, emphasizing Stephen's role. A little about Coach. Coach is a very simple guy with a simple mind who thinks he's complex. The promo shows us that he's still onto Sierra's case. Why? Shouldn't he be going after JT and getting in his face? Sierra represents the typical college girl that Coach is used to bossing around. He's more or less trapped inside the mindset of being able to tell younger women what to do and when to do it. There's no way he is going to get in JT's face about betraying him because he knows that JT isn't going to buy all of this "medevil warrior" crap. And he KNOWS for 100% sure that Stephen ain't gonna buy it. And Taj? He's probably scared as hell of Taj. More than anything, that's Coach's problem. He's had complete control of the wrong people and now those people (Erinn and Sierra) are going after him. He doesn't have much in the way of social skills when it comes to other guys because he can't manipulate them. He liked to think he got JT and Stephen to join him. He wouldn't, for a second, think that JT and Stephen got Coach to join them because that would be admitting that he screwed up.

Hell, she treated "Sunshine & Lollipops" Debbie with disrespect. She was a whiny miserable bitch in this episode who was not even told about the blindside. This season's hero JT even called her a "lying bitch". C'mon now, people, give her an M for the t.ears if ya want but please, stop with the P's. The key payoff was OTTNN Tyson being blindsided, not whiny miserable Sierra being saved - that was just an unfortunate by-product. Erinn was CP and NOT negative. JT calls Sierra a "lying bitch" and gets no N while Erinn does ? Jeez. Stephen and JT got the "we're in charge now" kiss of death repeated in the recap. Not good. Erinn was shown "spitting", not "puking". She may have puked but we were NOT shown it. Instead we got the funny confessional about Erinn be just like the little kid who ate a lot and then ran around and played, and then puked. Sierra is not F2. Her story finishes with the "begging" from Coach next episode.. E/T/J/S control the next boot among C/D/S.

We night not get another chance. The opportunity's knocking. ... I really like him, but, like, we're playing a freaking game for a million dollars." Yes, it was brought up by Erinn, but Stephen took the baton and got a million-dollar quote to boot. She didn't even bring him up by name until her confessional. Speaking on helicopter shots, Coach got one at the beginning, and Stephen got a long, long shot on his walk to Exile. It was notable. It swooped across right at the beginning, and then they did that montage of him bored. He didn't have a lot of confessionals, but maybe they weren't needed. I'm still really stuck between JT and Stephen, but I always let the post-merge episodes get to me. This is when they try to get us off the scent. Stephen had a great first episode (opening confessional and JT relationship in the first segment) and a really great merge episode where he was on par with JT discussing game. It's what's keeping me on the Stephen train despite who my gut tells me will win (JT).
