Well, I for one believed that this was all some publicity stunt to regain sympathy after her racial row, but... now that it's official and she is dead,
it's all pretty tragic. Poor girl was brow beaten by the media.

RIP Jade
As a father of two young boy myself, I understand what she did in the last weeks. If I knew I was dying, I would do anything to provide them with a good future. Now I'm a bit skeptical of the "entourage" of Jade. Jake and Jackie don't seem to be the most trustworthy people. I just hope for the kids that there will be money left when they'll hit 18. On another note: Big Brother' to pay tribute to GoodySunday, March 22 2009, 10:48 GMT By Daniel Kilkelly, Entertainment Reporter
Rex Features Big Brother producers have vowed to pay tribute to Jade Goody when the show returns for its tenth series this summer, a report claims. Goody, who died following a battle with cancer today, became an overnight star after appearing on the Channel 4 reality show in 2002. An insider told the News Of The World: "Jade was Big Brother. She completely embodied the show. "This series is a milestone for the show, reaching the decade, so it will be made in tribute to Jade. The series is dedicated to her." The programme's host Davina McCall is expected to speak about her memories of Goody in the live launch episode. A tribute video of the star's best moments on the show is also likely to feature. The Big Brother source added: "We have all looked on in horror at what was happening to [Jade] after she became ill. Our biggest star, our only real star, faded in front of our eyes. "We cannot deny Jade's importance to Big Brother and we definitely can't deny how much she meant to our viewers. They genuinely loved her and so did we." Goody was first diagnosed with cervical cancer in August last year. The disease later spread to her liver, bowel and groin. |

Wow, I guess I can't blame her for trying to get money for her sons. I hope they end up doing all right because between Jack, Jackiey, and her previous
boyfriend I'm a bit worried.
I won't lie and say I wasn't cynical about all of this, because I was especially in this last week with the reports saying she was dying and then she ended up living the whole rest of the week. |

wow, I felt strangely saddened to hear Jade passed away. I say strangely, because I wasn't a huge fan of hers, was pretty vocal in my dislike during CBB,
and found the whole media circus surrounding her these past few weeks really distasteful... so it comes off a bit hypocritical. Despite the news reports on her
deteriorating health, a small part of me didn't really think it was the end. It's terrifying to think of how quickly everything transpired, and I
can't begin to imagine what must have been going through her mind these past couple months.

Are the cynics finally appeased or will y'all need to go and examine the body for yourselves?
Asses. |

Its currently sold on the black market as a bioweapon for Terrorist, Military Organizations and Julie Chen. |

I hope wherever she is that she is now in peace and painless. Rest in Peace Jade, a short but filled life. I hope her kids do well too, losing a mom is the hardest thing a child can go through whether you are 5 or 55. I just hope these kids are taken care of well, Jade was a great mom to them. |

I won't lie and say I wasn't cynical about all of this, because I was especially in this last week with the reports saying she was dying and then she ended up living the whole rest of the week.I kept my mouth shut whenever a lot of you were saying this exactly like this. "Oh, the mags say she was gonna die today but she didn't!" And it was SO incredibly stupid that I really had to censor myself. But now that she's passed I have something to say. Do any of you FUCKS actually have any actual idea what dying with cancer is like? Any? Are you seriously, in 2009, that fucking dense to have no experience with it? Not only is that almost exactly how death via cancer happens -- with days where every physician in the world would say you are hours away from dying, only to live days, weeks, months longer -- but you were trusting these diagnoses from TABLOIDS. She wasn't dying when the TABLOIDS said she was going to. It just really blows my mind how fucking STUPID some people can be. Disbelief? Fair enough, given her stance. But to go there? Really...REALLY shows how fucking deluded a lot of you are on life and death. Sad. |

Oh please. God forbid I was a bit cynical over Jade Goody, yes the same Jade Goody that this entire thread really seemed to dislike before last summer. You can
dislike someone and feel sympathy over their situation. Especially now after the fact. I think I'm allowed to change my stance.
Yes I must be that dense. Nobody close to me has ever had cancer before. But when I read a report (and yes I know they are from tabloids, were we getting reports from anywhere else? I don't think so) saying Jade has a few hours to live and then the next day there is another report of Jade having days to live, and then a report of Jade writing a book, then trying to live until mothers days...it just didn't make sense to me. Again I honestly don't know much about cancer, I personally haven't had any family members deal with it. So if that makes me dense about it sorry. I feel really bad for her family, and it is tragic that someone so young died from a horrible disease, but I have to agree...what the fuck is with the moralizing police? I wasn't coming in here every day saying that Jade was huge liar and that I didn't believe she had cancer. I was just giving my 2 cents bearing in mind that it was Jade. Obviously this issue hits a bit close to home for a few people in this thread, and if that is the case I wouldn't come on this message board...and if you must I wouldn't venture down to OT whenever someone dies. |
