Ignore the obvious was an amazing task (please take note Endemol UK). To bad the eighth season didn't do well in Australia because I thought it was quite a
solid season. I definitely was more invested in the Australian series then the UK one last summer...Brigitte was fantastic. There was definitely a couple of
weeks after Sylvia left where Australia Big Brother was so much more engaging then UK Big Brother. It always has to do with the cast, there were so many good
characters in BBAU (Nobbi, Terri, Terrence, Brigitte, Travis, Bianca) that even the ones I didn't like I appreciated for just being a member of the cast.
Last summer for the UK um...(Lisa, Sara, Rex, Rachel, Belinda, Alexandra) I didn't just hated people for being bad guys I hated them for how useless or
awful they were (Dale, Stuart, Mohamed, Kathreya, Michael, Darnell, Mario). Now Luke and Rebecca I sometimes liked for making the show at least somewhat
interesting but I never hated them like some people on here did. They were not my favorites.
Unfortunately though when we get a dry couple of weeks in the UK there isn't an Australia one to watch. I do have high hopes for this season this summer (especially if I can obsess over a Lisa, Nicky, or Nikki). I guess I am relatively new, with my first season being 7, and still have yet to watch 4, 5, and 6 but despite maybe a few awful weeks I am still obsessed with this show. Also I don't think Sucks in general ever gets as whiny as the Digital Spy forum. Jesus Christ. You would think everyones family and best friend were murdered. All they do is complain over there...granted the show needs a revamping but it isn't a lost cause. Unfortunately I feel like race row and ofcom complaints really ruined the show. The producers are shying away from controversy but wasn't the Shilpa vs. Jade eviction night one of the highest rated episodes in a long time? Anyway it comes back to a fun cast who is willing to fight and willing to have a lot of fun. The producers also need to just let things happen and not intervene so much and just work on coming up with excellent tasks. |

I really liked season 9 and 7. They weren't the best seasons by any means but they both caught my interest and included some memorable (even if I hated
them) characters. Nothing could be worse than seasons 4 & 8.

I like those BBOZ clips, I think those are good ideas. I'd like a FNL but I might be one of the few who actually enjoyed that show, lol. I'd like the blatant fixing of votes like they did for Terry in the finale. Reveal the votes and the faces behind the percentages and some graphs like they do in OZ. I find it so plain that they never have graphs in the UK. |

That cast was great overall looking back now. I'd put all the seasons of BBOZ I've watched over the past two BBUKs. They've been far more enjoyable to watch, imo. Actually if the first nine out (minus Laura) were the final nine what a crazy final few weeks it that would have been. |

Oh my goodness! I haven't downloaded them yet but whoever uses IRC to download BBUK I am pretty sure that weeks 5-9 of series 2 is on there now. Swear to
god (and this is great for the completists like me). I might try to watch the rest of that before series 10 starts.
Just go look it will pop up with a bot after a few minutes.

BBAU 2008 was so much better than it was made out to be. It was a great improvement on the previous two crappy seasons. The housemates were great, the lenght
was better, the twist with the hand grenades added so much drama and overall it was a great series. Most of the big characters survived for quite some time due
to the original voting system and I was actually very pleased with the winner for once. Definetely agree that it was the best of the three main BB's in
2008. BBUK behind that and lastly BBUS. All were actually improvements on the previous seasons, which were all shit.
