Dear Maureen, listen carefully,

I recently moved into shared accommodation and have fell in love with a beautiful girl. She is woman of my dream, and I love her very much. Me, myself, I love her eyes, her hair, her fashion style and her comedy moustache. Her laugh makes me sunshine.

I'm afraid to say that she is not admitting to loving me back. Last week I get dressed up in my best clothes and sit her down in the living room, where I tell her on her face that I love her, but she say that we should just be friends. Me, myself, I know she wants to be with me but how do I make her mine?

I am telling you honestly, she thinks I'm Superman, but I'm not. I can't cope with her rejection. Personally, me, I am a good Indian boy from a very good university, I have professional certificate in dancing and I would treat her right, but she not want to be with me.

Also a bad man who we live with is trying to steal my sunshine. I tell him to shut his face but he not listen to me.

I know how difficult it must be to fall in love with someone that you live with. I too once fell for a slightly obnoxious girl with a comedy pair of glasses and moustache drawn on her face. Try and give her space, possibly focusing your attention on another housemate. You don't want to annoy her, so from now on just be very sweet around her.

Try not to be unhappy around her, just show her the sunny side of Indian Loverboy. That way she will see that you're good for her and the relationship could elevate to the next level.

As for your male rival, try not to bicker because this will only make you look immature. Instead, try and befriend this rival; maybe go to a football game together, or the movies, or make him bacon sandwiches as a special treat.

If you need to talk to anyone then Auntie Maureen is always here for you.
