Sign me up for the hate. And I'll predict that this thread will be massive before this season ends--this guy will not wear well.
Yes, he has a strong voice. And yes, the "threaticality" is somewhat novel. And yes, reworking that Cher song as a ballad was pretty inspired. But Christ, is he annoying. Anyone who (justifiably) hates Danny or Archie for being gaspy but still defends this guy just needs to be shot. He sounds like he's singing underwater. Also, anyone who finds this guy particularly attractive really needs to get out more often. |

I had to start one. His voice is high, thin and reedy and he sings like he's in a high school production of Jesus Christ Superstar. This is who people
like? Seriously? They're pimping a reject from "Rent! The Musical!" This is considered a frontrunner? I thought he was some kind of goth rocker
with his mascara and dark clothes when he first showed up. But when he sings, jazz hands and Streisand comes tumbling out.

I was a big fan early on, not so sure now. I didn't enjoy him during Hollywood week but I'm not hating him yet. And certainly most of the Lamb Skanks
here are not tards, Candy is just a meanie jeanie.
But based on who made it through last night, I really don't care much about this season anyway. |
