You are right craig, I'll take a power player over an "underdog" any time. The notion of an underdog is sentimental. I prefer successful players who ran the game, not people who merely didn't get voted out.

News flash, you can love Parvati (I do as well!) and still acknowledge she was one of the luckiest (if not the luckiest) winner ever.

You just think that because you're not paying attention, because as I said I DO like Danni. I think she's gorgeous and I like her personality, but it is a stretch to refer to her as a strategist, let alone one of the best. Point in fact, Danni was lucky in addition to not having any amount of control over the game. Danni's immunity win that saved her at F6 was the result of a twist at the reward challenge, Danni not being voted out at F5 was the result of the twist at the reward challenge, Danni not being booted at F4 was a result of her being sick. The fact that she came in without the numbers as a result of challenge losses and couldn't convince her former tribe mates to align with her doesn't make me think more of her as a player either.

And you're absolutely wrong that I don't acknowledge Parvati's luck because I have many times, I just don't qualify her win as one of the "luckiest" ever because I'm not bitter that she won and Cirie lost so I don't have that motivation. It's a silly argument. Writing fan fiction about what would have happened if power player Chet made the merge and how it would have turned the game is a pointless exercise that proves nothing and could easily be turned around on Cirie, which would imply that she wasn't that great of a player either, which I also do not believe.

I don't know what Joelle has to do with anything, but she lost more weight than a lot of the people at the ranch so obviously she was doing something right. My argument was never that she was a hard worker, just that people who lost two pounds in a month couldn't talk. And Joelle has continued to lose weight at home, so she is obviously not as lazy and worthless as those people claimed, otherwise she wouldn't have.

I love Parvati and even I'm sick of talking/hearing about her in every thread. She's so controversial <3
