As for Claire, I'm of the opinion that a character isn't dead unless we see them buried a la Boone, Shannon, Libby, etc. or unless it is blatantly obvious that they've had a life-ending experience. Walking into the woods, in one case, and having a few seconds to jump off a ship that's about to explode does NOT count in my book. Thus, Claire=alive. Jin=alive. Then again, I'm constantly wrong. |

I thought there was a beam somewhat like that when Locke was pounding after Boone got crushed, which could line up timewise with Claire screaming in labor, but
I couldn't find a cap so who knows.

Can anyone explain briefly why we think Daniel's mother is Eloise Hawking? I know that his mouse was named Eloise, but is there any other connection? Why
are people mentioning her as a potential funder of Dharma and as wife to Widmore?

"Thank Jacob, you guys came back to save us!" - Locke
"It took some doing, but we're here now. Now, Faraday, tell us what needs to be done to stop this." - Ben "Well, first, you have to..." - Faraday "No, not again!" - Locke ****FLASH!**** "Dude.s, did you just see what I saw?" - Hurley |

B) Daniel's mom is in LA, and while we haven't been shown for sure where Hawking is, she is somewhere near where Ben was when he told Jack he'd be back in 6 hours. C) Pouty girl on the island when the bomb was hanging was called Ellie. Ellie could be short for Eloise, and she was there with Widmore. Basically, it's just all spec based on the stuff we've been shown and the fact that the writers seem to enjoy making all the characters have ties to each other. |

And, it sorta makes sense. We have Charles Widmore versus Ben Linus... yet we see Ben deferring to Eloise Hawking. So it's Widmore versus Hawking. And
guess who found out about time travel in "Jughead": Richard Alpert, young Charles Widmore, and Ellie. Seems the former is tied to the Island somehow,
and the latter two are off-Island trying to find it's location.... if Ellie is Eloise.
Wait... that really didn't address Faraday's connection to Eloise. He did say she looked familar, though I'd have to wonder why he wouldn't recognize his mother as a young girl. I know I've seen enough pictures of my mom it wouldn't be hard, especially tying in her birthday with the year in time it is. Oh well. Perhaps Faraday "lost" his mom at an early age. |

Just a heads up in regard to "connections." The receptionist Des was talking to at Oxford, is the same woman who was one of the Oceanic gate
attendants in Australia while the Losties were boarding 815.

Lost recap for Jughead. It's pretty funny.
Snotty Soldier #1: Veni vidi vici!
"How in the hell do you know what they're sayin'?" "We were in the same Latin 101 class at Otherville State. Go Fightin' Polar Bears!"
