I always thought that when the Race planted a U-Turn there was at least a chance that the affected team could dig out of it and persevere. The way it was played right before the taxi sprint to the pitstop left no chance whatsoever. A pair of good racers out of the game by chance -- bad connection + the U Turn. Then again, they were in last place when U Turned so who knows what the gap the midgets had on them was.

Kris & Jon are definitely the best substitute for them. As for their elimination . . . I liked them. I did. But they were the only truly generic team left. Now, seven very unique teams are left, and I think the race is better for it. I do hope they have a nice life together, though.

If he'll do anything to stay in the game, shouldn't he have saved the U-Turn until he really needed instead of wasting it to benefit an ally (who, believe it or not, may also want to win themselves). Hopefully it'll backfire.

Finally a nice dating couple comes around that isn't a pair of boring potheads or mactors pretending to be nice and they're out early.
