After I heard her song choice last night it crossed my mind that she might lose votes from religious zealots who didn't like her song choice? Am I crazy?

Last week I would have thought the t-shirt reeked of desperation, but I actually thought it worked because she had a good performance--not just a decent crack
at singing.
Even her clip showed confidence. It all-round worked for me in ways that it hasn't really before. Dare I say it, I see growth. I hope she keeps it up. Carly <3! G'wan ya mad bitch! |

I thought the t-shirt was cute and anyone with a sense of humor would've got the joke behind it.
I think Carly unfortunately might be gone tonight. For whatever reason I just don't think she inspires the devotion needed to push a contestant to the top. Sometimes I really enjoy her voice and other times I just find it kind of screechy... I thought she did good with JCS though...lots of energy and her voice commanded the song, which is that that song requires. |

Her performance and presence was amazing.I totally agree. In my opinion she was the best of the night, just above Syesha (who's not even a fave of mine but she gave a great performance too). It was Carly's best since Beatles weeks and one of her best overall. I loved it and I don't even particularly like JCS. Cook was better last night. He owned the stage, he owned the song, he owned everything.I disagree, and I'm a David C. fan. It was vocally good, but I thought it was one of his most boring performances. I liked that he switched things up and didn't do a rock arrangement, but still it just wasn't my cup of tea. |

I wasn't thrilled with Cook adding that rock part to the end, but aside from the wobbly lower register, I thought he was better than Carly. He has much
better control over his voice. I just didn't like the song choice, or her performance. Lots of yelling, horrible background singers ruining the
performance, and she seemed to lose control.
Singing the Judas song and yelling JESUS CHRIST a million times...not a great idea. I think the T-shirt (even though I thought it was funny) and the shots of her husband may hurt even more. Syesha, Jason, and Brooke will all be getting a surge in votes. Everything came together at a bad time. If she had had the pimp spot, I think she would stay, but since she didn't, I'm not sure. I won't be surprised if she goes tonight. |

Jason and Brooke got tons of sympathy votes. I think Brooke at least would have been there otherwise.
Poor Carly. She doesn't deserve to go yet. If only she hadn't chosen that song. |
