I have pretty much said in every thread I post in that we are headed for an inevitable Cook/Archie final 2. My hope is for Carly to get third, which is a huge accomplishment considering all circumstances. If she somehow makes it further, I would be estatic. Bitch please, I have barely seen your ass ever root for a chick so don't fucking get on me about it. I fully admit that I only root for vadges in 99% of the shows. At least I fucking own my shit, unlike you.

Posts: 9375 (04/16/08 10:03 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Let's see...on Survivor I've rooted for women to win 9 out of 16 seasons (Tina Wesson, Kathy, Shii-Ann, Sandra, Kathy(ASS), Eliza, Steph, Cirie, Courtney). On American Idol I've rooted for women about half the time. I was rooting for Daughtry to win season 5, and I'm rooting for the two Davids this season. But every other season I've had a mix of contestants I've liked from both genders. Same with Canadian Idol. I usually end up rooting for males and females about 50/50. It does get annoying that you always come in here and ruin my delusional fantardisms, PF. Let me bitch about Carly winning without having someone pinpoint the obvious -- that it aint gonna happen. As for me being biased against contestants who have a vadge/penis, outside of AI, i'm 50/50. With AI I just find it hard to root for males -- they're typically so boring on a show like this. I guess the cheesy factor works to a vadge contestant's advantage, but whatever. I was indifferent to who won in Season 2 but I was leaning towards Ruben, and I thought Elliot/Daughtry should have won AI5. So i'm 5/2 in favor of vadge contestants in AI.

Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Once again two hours of nonstop dialing (admittedly, with occasional digressions to try to save Syesha as well) paid off. I was one of the very few people who correctly predicted she's be the only woman safe this week, while getting the booted one wrong (I predicted Brooke). My reasoning was simple: Carly's outfits and makeup have been so horrid throughout that I said if she just covered up the tattoo and looked a little better, she'd be safe even if her singing was just average. Which is exactly what happened. She started the song great and then went screechy (Syesha did exactly the same thing) but looked fine and was safe anyway. With Brooke in a tailspin and Syesha not doing so great either, there's no reason Carly shouldn't be the last woman left, and deservedly. But this season has NOT been predictable and tonight was no exception.

I don't think it's necessarily Brooke that's going to get Kristy's votes, I just would have preferred Brooke to go last night because it was a prime opportunity to get her out. That would leave both Kristy and Syesha to go next and Carly would last until F4 then, with 3 girls going in a row I figured she could make F3 over Jason perhaps.

The ALW theme is more likely to suit her than ANY of the other contestants (over-the-top, angry theatrics are a STAPLE of the ALW oevre), and Carly is bound to get the pimp spot. If she does well, she will coast to final 4 at least. If she doesn't do well, then she DESERVES to go for fucking up such a golden opportunity...

I do think that the final two is predictable, but which one of the two Davids emerges victorious is less known. I think it will be very close. If anyone went up against either David in the finale, I think they'd lose big. I wanted Carly to at least make the top 5, and didn't think she could do it the way things have been going, but now it's possible.

You know people would have cried racism if Syesha had left at Top 8 or 7 like she probably should have. Personally I don't care if people are black, white, hispanic, asian, yellow, purple, Russian, Irish, Australian or polka dotted if they have talent. I like you SurvivorFan, but let's be honest the trolling in the Archie love thread this season has been much, much worse than in any of the other love threads. My objective opinion...Carly could be the last girl standing (unless they want Syesha in the final 4 instead). Or Brooke, who is still loved by the producers. It's a toss-up.
