My kindly SoundScan contact got curious and dug into the records to see exacly how much impact Carly's major-label deal with MCA gave her. Here's the results: She had two singles available for sale in 2001: I'm Gonna Blow Your Mind, which gusted the crania of only 18,000 customers, and Beautiful You, which sold slightly fewer than 8,000 copies. Her 2001 album, Ultimate High, reached an ultimate high of nearly 2,400 copies sold. So while you can't call her an amateur, by any means, she didn't exactly make a splash on the public's consciousness and is, for all intents and purposes, an unknown (albeit one with a previous major-label album). I still hope they come clean about her background on the show, though.

I miss the days when we just ripped on contestants for their singing (dis)abilities and/or physical attributes they were born with and can't help. I think tattoo face hubby of Irish plant is sort of hot. Clearly, there's a few cogs missing in my wheel of tardation but so be it. Wasn't that impressed with her voice but I sort of liked her. Then again, it could be just overload of blonde whores and appreciating something slightly different for a change.

Just like for girls, dressing up skanky or guys dressing really sloppy, people are going to make judgements about it. In a perfect world, people wouldn't care. If you were to ask me, when I saw it, I thought he was cute. I think it is limiting when you choose to express yourself in different ways (like that), especially for work. But he has the freedom to choose what he wants and he has which is great. He runs his own business and is happy and good for him, he looks like a nice guy. As for someone I know dating him, I wouldn't care, as long as he can provide well and is a good person. But as for Carly, the tats won't affect her too much as long as she hides her man until she gets booted. And I didn't think she was that great, I was very meh with her, overhyped kinda.

The only people who take seniors seriously are politicans for election time and the health care system.
