And then we had the great emo massacre of 07. With 6 people going next week, it will likely be the greatest disaster that Canadian Idol has ever experienced. And there are two people that stick out to me immediately as people who should be very afraid. And they are..... Mookie, cause interesting people like him usually lose right around this point. brace yourselves for the next one...... Amberly! With her getting the pimp spot this week, I could totally see her performing first next week, and with 3 out of 8 people leaving, her losing out to someone like Mark or Katherine. But aside from the Piggots, Mark and probably Omar, I don't think there is a single one who is safe. No matter what though, lets prepare to be disappointed.

Mookie's number one on my list for getting booted next week. But there's just no way Amberly is going home. Plus there is no way the producers will put her first. I don't think the Piggots or Omar are safe at all. Performance will be a huge factor. Theo and Amberly are a sure bet because they are the most consistant. I don't see either of them sucking next week. Mark and Mitch are staying because of regional voting. Mitch will probably sing first next week because it won't likely affect him. I really hope it's a top 12.

It's where we lose all of the good/unique contestants (Liam, Tyler, Montana, Keith, Nancy, Ashley C.) and the medicore ones (aka "WTF are they still doing here?") advance (Kati, Brandon, Brian) It's extra troubling since this year we have 16 people left and they might eliminate six for it to be a Final Ten. Methinks, there WILL be a Top 12 this year. They're crazy if they eliminated six people at once. They got so much at stake this year.

I'm 99.9% sure they won't make her perform first or even that early in the show even though she got the pimp spot this week. I have a feeling the CI producers really want this season to work out and they're going to be a lot more manipulative and there will be a lot more pimping going on (encores anyone?) than their usually is. I expect a terrible massacre but I also expect Amberly is a lock for Top 10. I'm worried about saying goodbye to Earl, Gary, one of the Pigs and/or Mookie.

They know that if the right people leave this week, they'll have the best top 10/12 ever and maybe the best idol season ever depending on the winner. For me, it certainly is my favorite season that I've seen since AI2 (I didn't watch CI2). The question is: who will they not be protecting when they make performance decisions? The Pigotts are obviously going to be on their mind (for ratings), as will Amberly and at least one other girl. The judges have said that they like all four girls though that's probably because they want to keep the girls-- any girls. I'm guessing they'll make sure that Katelyn is protected since she could stay for a long time as opposed to the Quebecoise. In addition to those four, I say that they'll be looking out for Theo, Mookie and Omar, who they've praised religiously. Omar might fall victim to the hands of KKKanada, so they'll have to be really protective of him. I'm expecting the pimp spot for him. Mark and Mitch, on the other hand, are most likely very safe due to their region, and so they could easily go first, especially Mitch since Mark performed first this week. The others, then, are all vulnerable. Of them, only Earl would be a huge shock with Martin and Gary being unfortunate victims should they go. There is also the chance that any help given to Omar is futile and he goes as well. My prediction of the four to be booted: Katherine, Adam, Marie-Pierre, Martin. Add Gary and Omar if there are six who leave this week.

If so and the pigs are on the same night I could certainly see one of them getting Keith'd since I assume there would be some vote splitting there. I can see Sebastian squeaking through, and Oliver getting the boot even though he is obviously more talented in the vocal department. Too bad about the serial killer looks. He should have kept the curly hair.

Strangely enough though if you see some of TPTB you'd never think they'd be manipulative like Nigel or anything of the sort. They aren't skeevy like he and Ken are. Barbara and John actually seem like normal people.

Marie-Pierre and Katherine won't be on the same night. I don't think Amberly will go on the same night as Theo (both front runners right now), or Katelyn. I don't know if it would make a difference to put Mitch and Mark on the same night, probably not. I could see both Adam and Marie-Pierre getting the pimp spot this week because the judges like both and both were in the bottom 3. Mitch will likely go first and Mark near the beginning sandwiched between 2 great performances. We won't likely know if it's a top 12 until Wednesday's results show. I don't think TPTB are going to decide on what they're going to do until after they see the results. And I don't blame them.

I know I'm in the minority, but I like Katherine and wouldn't mind her staying too. Although, I think it might be good for her to go this week. While I like her voice, there are still some things she can work on and come back.

I'd like for all 4 girls to stay actually (but I'm not holding my breath). Adam's on thin ice. If he delivers this week I want him to stay, if he sucks he must go. Omar, Drew, Mitch, and Martin I could take or leave. Gary if he sucks like he did the first week, can go home. If he surprises me again and does well like last week, he can stay. If Earl sucks again he can go and I won't care. I've never really liked Mookie so he can go. I hope both Pigs stay. Mark needs to go home ASAP!!!!
