They've been more or less defunct since about 1973. I suppose you could grow up in Haight-Ashbury where they are still around or have parents who were hippies, but does that really count?

She's had at least three off weeks since "Let It Be" ("Every Breath You Take" is awesome, i'm totally discounting the judge's comments for that one), but I can't help but still root for her, overall she still has the best track-record. "You're So Vain", "Let It Be" and EBYT are arguably my three favorite performances of the season.

Brooke is too good for AI, which is why she won't win. But I would totally buy her album, and I haven't bought any AI stuff since "Breakaway." Oh yes, I remember posting that.
