Ontario (the two don't get along, make fun of each other) French v.s. English (but that's old as the day is long, I don't think it's as prevalent today) I did have French neighbours who hate that southern ontario was anglophone cause they think the french owned it blah blah blah. It was weird. They kinda didn't gel with anyone, kids stuck to frenchie schools. Toronto Hate (Vancouver and Calgary especially). Native racism in the west. and probably others I have failed to mention. oh, newfies are made fun of by everyone. Newfie jokes never go old. (Sorry smartguy). T

It's funny, cause when I think of Canada I think of polite, friendly, happy people (who drink a lot of vodka and love hockey.) At least every Canadian I have ever met has been this way. I have a hard time picturing Canadian "White Trash," or any other variety of the social classes that we have in the US. Yeah, we have a lot of serial killers but I have no explaination for it! But overall, Canada is peaceful. I don't want to paint a picture of social upheaval here. We have our issues definitely but it's ok overall, we co-exist pretty well for such a diverse and wide spread population. (You guys here excepted, of course) thank goodness I'm in the exception. :-)) I never really make newfie jokes anyways, but I do hear them. But lets' admit, Newfies are made fun of, but they are regarded as the nicest bunch in all the country by most everyone. They are made fun of but everyone hearts them at the end of the day. All the newfie's I've met (there are a lot of them in the Toronto region) are the best folk out there. Great attitudes. Just for CI, I hate the province. After CI, it's all good.

I think people would just like things to be equal all across the board and certain regions get upset when they think Toronto or Alberta or English people are favoured or whatever. I personally don't hate any other regions in Canada, just regional voting fucks for Canadian Idol namely the East coasters who do it, Newfoundland specially and Alberta and Saskatchewan to a point.

At this point, mostly indifferent and slightly leaning towards like, but that could change depending on how he does. I already like him more than four of the five previous Newfies. I kinda liked Jenny, I found Tara completely blah, and I was repulsed by the other three guys. Unlike Craigina, at least Mark sounds like a guy? Go NewFaFu!
