You confuse me. This is what I'm referring to.

Sherri Shepherd had another DUH! moment on Monday morning's episode of The View when she called gospel legend Shirley Cesar "The Black Patti Labelle." Apparently, she forgot that Patti Labelle is Black.

It's a joke about "The View". The OP said she was like a black Vonzell.

In season four, everyone around here said Vonzell was so white that her name was Carol Smith. That's what the original poster is referring to I believe.

I have to say though, that Black Patti Labelle shit is hilarious and I would have never known about it if you hadn't mentioned it here.

She completely reminded me of Tamyra as well. Even when she came in and said "I am SO excited," it reminded me of Tamyra's opening line when she auditioned "I am SO ready." Both seemed like they were sorta forced enthusiasm.

I don't remember that. Good call.
