Ive only been to season 2 and 3 of the idol tours. For season 3 i got row 2 floor seats like a week before the show. on ticketmaster. |

Do a lot of people really do the tour colors thing? I do not want to do that. At all. I mean, I know I don't have to, but do I like the thought of MJ
looking out and seeing all the people who are there mainly for him, I guess, if the Idols even know about it. But black and orange? God. No. Now I have to keep
that list so I at least don't mistakenly wear someone's color who I don't like.

Are the top 10 will be participate for the opening ceremony of 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China after the Long Island tour?
Just as their tour may will take a break in 6 days (August 5-10). American president George W. Bush and other world leaders will also go for the opening ceremony. The tour will resume on August 11 in Albany. Here's the flights for Top 10 finalists from New York-JFK to Beijing for August 5: JL005 1330 1625+1 JFK NRT - JL789 1810+1 2105+1 NRT PEK (connecting flight via Tokyo) KE082 1400 1725+1 JFK ICN - KE853 1900+1 2005+1 ICN PEK (connecting flight via Seoul) CA982 1630 1800+1 JFK PEK (direct flight) Here's the flights for Top 10 finalists from Beijing back to New York on August 10 (Which they will arrive on a same day because of International Date Line): JL780 0825 1255 PEK NRT - JL008 1920 1905 NRT JFK (connecting flight via Tokyo) CA981 1300 1430 PEK JFK (direct flight) The Summer Olympics is one month away and the Idols may see the excitement of the sporting event.

Here's the setlist: I went to the concert last night, but I don't know the names for the all songs...so I will have to look around for them. Totally different from the previous tours that is for sure. Before intermission it is everyone but the top 4. Each of them sang 3 songs on a piece and then that group had a group sing. After that it was a the top 4 with their mini-sets a group sing with the top 10 and it was all over.

Apparently, due to the popularity of the AI7 tour and the relative success of it, they're gonna do it again in December =O
[edit] Idols in Concert for the HolidaysDue to the big success, Fox TV and 19 Records decided to hold a tour called Idols in Concert for the Holidays.[3] There are only 2 avenues available now. There will also be a Christmas album available soon.
There's like a month in between there, so they're probably filling it with other venues (two cities isn't much of a tour...) Ahh, I'd kill for them to come back to Toronto

I'm not sure if I buy it either. Cause some of the Idols...Michael Johns for instance, aren't even under contract with 19 anymore. He said himself
that they released him early, by his request.
Plus, some of them, like Cook, are going to be busy promoting albums and getting ready for tours. Seems STRANGE, to say the least. |

They realize the 2008 tour succeeded because of the 2008 Idols and not due to any of these people, and probably in spite of most of those people.
It'd be nice to see Hernandez though, and you could always heckle Kim. |
