Despite my intense love for Cooktard, my desire to see Cruefest is outweighing my desire to see the Crapfest. I think Season 5 was probably my swan song for this shit. Good luck to everyone on getting primo seats for the craptivities though. Personally, I've seen people have better luck at the regular sale because the presale tickets released are often times shit. Single buyers can get great deals by waiting until the last minute/week/day before or day of to buy tickets. If you have to buy more than one ticket though, you're taking a risk at being stuck up where the air is rare.

They only released tickets for the back half of the floor section and the back half of level 1 from what I checked. I want either close floor seats or close level 1 seats. With floor seats most likely we'll end up standing and if we have to stand I don't want to be far back on the floor because I won't be able to see and that would defeat the purpose of paying for floor seats. At least with close level 1 seats, you can see really well and you can sit down and not have to look over the heads of people in front of you. Close to the stage, level 1 seats would be ideal since I think like front row floor seats would be very hard to get. I'm too paranoid to do so but I know you can probably get really good seats if you wait. If you wait a while after the tickets go on sale you can buy any tickets that go back up for sale. I know if people's credit cards get rejected after Ticketmaster processes the orders their seats go back up and like a few days or weeks after the on sale you can randomly luck into those tickets. Also if you wait until really close to the concert I've heard that ticket brokers who got the really good tickets give them back to Ticketmaster if they don't sell them and those tickets go back up for sale. So if you'd maybe like to go but aren't that hardcore about it you might want to wait until like a few weeks before the show or something and you might luck into good tickets.

I have another rant though. Ticketmaster fees. WTF? I hate Ticketmaster and their ridiculous fees. The highest price level for tickets is $68.25 but with all the added on fees those tickets will actually set you back $83.38. WTF? The only way you can avoid fees is by going to the venue and buying from the box office if that option is even available. The ACC is downtown TO though so with the price of gas I can't even go there to avoid the fees. FUCK YOU TICKETMASTER.

I'm going to be in Atlantic City in a couple of weeks and was thinking of visiting the box office there. It's too far to make a special trip. I checked the presale & didn't see anything good so I passed.

I personally like both Cook and Archuleta, but knowing the big fanbase Archie has he'll probably win. I'm rooting for both of them!!

The shows will probably sell out. As for nosebleed type seats they're not so bad. I had lame seats for the AI3 tour but you can still see and hear. You don't have a great up close view but you're there to hear your favourite sing right.

Section 108, Row B at US Bank Arena. I'd consider them good if I got them late in the day on Saturday but for a presale, they are bad. I, too, only got offered the farther back sections of the lower level or the back section of the floor. I kept checking even after I bought mine to see what would come up and several times over a 15 minute period, I kept getting offered the same tix! Hmm... I was afraid to wait because when I took my daughter to see HSM, I missed the presale and didn't get tix till the general public sale date and had seats way back in the arena. But I believe that one was in high demand and got sold out about everywhere. Laugh all you want, but it was actually fun, except for the screaming, and I like the HSM movies anyway. Too bad that cutie Zac Efron wasn't on the tour (filming Hairspray at the time). On the season two tour, I don't remember when I bought the tix but our seats were a lot closer in the lower level. I remember the flames that went up whenever Trenyce sang "Rolling" during Proud Mary. We could feel the heat so I know the people on the floor were cooking!

I always release the first ones offered and then generally get much better ones. This was same deal. I have no desire to be on the floor in the Staples Center. The number of signs there is ridiculous and I wouldn't be able to see the stage for people holding the signs the whole time.

Too bad they are practically a monopoly, or you can pay even more for the scalper ticket brokers. I won't drive to the box office because it's 45 minutes away. My two tix were $160, and then of course there's parking, gas, etc. Pretty expensive night out. Oh well, my daughter won't be 11 forever. I just happened to check ebay before the presale since sometimes sellers have better seating charts in their listing, and there were people selling AI tour tix for every city with specific sections and rows before they were even on presale! I smell a rat. Ticket scalping should be illegal in the U.S. The tix weren't much better than what I got and the buy it now price was $100 more than face value. Not that I'm surprised. I've been to many concerts in my life (probably around 200) and this has been going on a long time. I just think it's worse now than in the 80's because of the internet. I might check again on Saturday and see what I can get and take a chance on selling the tix I got today if the new ones are better. My husband isn't too thrilled with that idea though! He thinks I'll get stuck with two sets of tix.
