Me too seaguy, ever since you introduced me too her I've just adored her.
Ricki-Lee is my 2nd favourite even though I despised her before. Paulini is good too and as I've said before I'm indifferent on Emily. |

RICKI-LEE LOVE AND ADORATION!
I had the relatives in Australia ship me over her solo debut for my birthday and I'm thinking of asking for the Young Divas album for Xmas. I wonder if it will finally get my grandma to stop asking if I have a girlfriend? Gloria is my favo of the moment. I'm burnt out on This Time I Know It's For Real as I've been listening to it since June and Happening All Over Again sounds a bit too cheerful for what's being sung about haha. Still, omg they're pretty much the most fabulous girl group EVER. US Idol rejects couldn't TOUCH these Young Divas. |

I love "Happening All Over Again" but I'd have to agree about the cheerfulness over it. Just listening to it the part where they're like "broke my heart and deceived me" it sounds like they've got big ass smiles on, then the video just proves it.

Maybe they set his car on fire and that's why they're so upbeat in the song?
I really want to get a good listen of "Woman in Love" because I love that song (lame, I know) and I think these girls could sing the hell out of it (but not totally overdo it). That's what I like about their diva-ness, they balance things out between them so there's no Beyonce-esque spotlight hogger - although Paulini's album is out right now so she's probably trying to grab as much of it as she can. I haven't heard any of her solo stuff, but I presume she was a pretty big seller as this is her second album. Aussie Idols need to break into the North American market already! |

I fucking love the Young Divas.
If anyone is interested in checking out some Young Divas videos and a bunch of solo stuff by the girls check this out: www.sonybmg.com.au/musicb...=307719605 If you click on the tab beside the album preview there's 13 videos or something. Also totally not Young Divas related but if you click on the new tab beside that there's a great video of Shannon Noll and Natalie Bassingthwaighte's cover of Peter Gabriel and Kate Bush's "Don't Give Up." I never thought I'd say this but Australian Idol officially > Canadian Idol and I'm a die hard Canadian Idol fan/supporter. And the best - they sing LIVE and actually sound good. Carrie Underwood, eat your heart out. *sits and waits for the Vonzell + Suzy Vulaca + Lisa Leuschner + Amanda Avila group that is sure to come* |

They just released a video for Searchin'. I'm really praying they release a second CD even if there's some breaking up rumors (I'm pointing at you Ricki-Lee). If they do break-up, I hope Paulini continues with the same style of music since I think she's the one whose voice it suits best.

Just throwing in my support for them.
The store I work in is located directly across from an Abercrombie and Fitch and they always have them blasting. I remember the first time I heard them playing I thought to myself "Hey, this is the Young Divas, isn't it?" Glad they're getting some exposure in the U.S. I actually think Emily is the most talented of the bunch, but if any four of these girls were on American Idol they'd dominate. They're just that good. "This Time I Know It's For Real" has been on my playlist since December and I still haven't gotten tired of it. Quote: They'd actually be wise to consider that. |
