The point of the thread was that the writing is worse than it was. SI's point was that we should have expected the show to be fictiony.

Do you even know who you're posting to (or as) anymore?

Ah, the ol' posting a generic question trick because you have nothing important to say.

For some reason they think that hiding the face of Mrs. Hawking is such a big deal.
What standards have the writers lowered themselves too?

I have the sinking feeling we aren't going to get many more good episodes out of Lost. We're gonna get 8000 gun battles until a final sacrifice, by
Locke most likely, jumping into a giant energy light in the island core to destroy the island and save everyone else. Things are getting that damn cheesy.
Then 5 years later the island will have magically reappeared for movies. |

Well, I doubt Lost is gaining viewers, but my wife did imply she was ready to give up on the show and make it one I could watch on my own time, rather than
together with her. She cut out halfway on Jughead, and I saved the rest, just in case she wants to give the show another chance.

Maybe the show had too many twists in season 1, so since the viewing public was expecting twists they stopped doing them.
Although, I did enjoy The Man from Tallahassee, which was universally panned.

2. Sun. The writers have shown us a lot about Sun. The storyline between Sun and Jin is the second best "couple" storyline on
the show. I'm completely interested in seeing what Sun is going to do. The writers have developed her character enough that we know she isn't afraid
to lie, cheat, or kill. She's done all those things in the past. She's up to something. She's going to get her revenge and I can't wait to
see how she gets and who it's against.

I've read all the posts and some of the people here have no deduction ability.
From season 2 we started getting hints that not only it's not a coincidence that the losties crashed on the island but that it was known years before (Kelvin said to Sayid he will need to have "skills" to get information from someone in the future), and it's much more entertaining and reasonable (as much as LOST can be) that it's because of time travel than the other theories suggested over the years. If Desmond's flash to the past in season 3 didn't make you understand that time travel is going to be an increasing element of the show than you have no business watching the LOST.

I do believe that's the first time I've seen someone suggest that Kelvin was a time traveller. Interesting.
