What happened to the writers who did Locke & Sawyer's episodes in season 1?

I'm going to try and disagree with you one more time. I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong. I'm just saying I don't agree with your opinion. This is why I still think the writing is still good.

1. The relationship between Jack and Ben. This relationship has been adversarial most of the time. It's been like a chess game. Each trying to get the upper hand and be in control. It's been fun to see who was going to win. Then, the flash foward happens and we see Ben and Jack in the funeral parlor. Now it's a completely different dynamic. Jack is in despair and Ben is there offering words of comfort and advice. The whole tone of their scenes together has changed. They are working together and trusting each other. To me it's compelling to see them together as a team. I love how the dynamics of there relationship have changed. Ben got rid of Jack's pills and even defended him to the butcher chick. And the great part is, I'm pretty sure there relationship will change once again. I'm really enjoying what they've done with these two characters.

2. Sun. The writers have shown us a lot about Sun. The storyline between Sun and Jin is the second best "couple" storyline on the show. I'm completely interested in seeing what Sun is going to do. The writers have developed her character enough that we know she isn't afraid to lie, cheat, or kill. She's done all those things in the past. She's up to something. She's going to get her revenge and I can't wait to see how she gets and who it's against.

3. Hurely. He's mostly been responsible for the lighter moments on Lost. But his struggle with keeping the lie is kind of heartbreaking. I think the writers have done a good job of showing the toll this burden has been.

There's only been 3 episodes this season but the writers are still developing the characters. It's yet to be determined if the time travel stuff is going to work. It's hasn't been bad to me so far. I'm trusting that it will work out just find though.
