and around 4:58 to 5:00,it seems Timbira go on a challenge or something...and it is clearly missing Debbie ang Tyson...
so does it mean anything?Just a guess=] Actually, if you pause it, you can see a woman ahead of the group, and a man behind holding the flag, so they are all there. |

Am I the only one who thought Sugar sounded EXACTLY like Parvati during that? Sydney ftw!

Reality Blurred and Survivor Fever has Brendan Synnott' interview up...Here is some of the things that he said...
As a recruit, Brendan at first had "no reason to do it" but then thought Survivor would be "fun. I love to compete, I love outdoor adventure, I love to play games; I'm kind of in-between jobs so why not?" Like all recruits, he was asked to make a video, which he posted to YouTube, baffling fans online who discovered it. I asked casting director Lynne Spillman about that incident, and she said that "a lot of times, when we do last-minute recruiting" casting has contestants "upload to web sites [like YouTube] all the time, to private, and then we have them take it right down." Brendan's was public for four hours one day last September, and Spillman told me, "he's perplexed, we have no idea. It was posted to private." While he said "I like to take leadership roles," whether or not he steps up as a leader "depends upon the dynamic of the tribe." Still, Brendan insisted, "if I need to be [a leader], I will; I don't have a problem with it." Brendan also told me, "I think the best strategy is to make your tribe as comfortable as possible and provide leadership where they need it, and to ultimately win the immunity challenges where you can." He's not worried about the physical challenges ("I'm pretty confident in that part of my game"), but "[doesn't] want to seem threatening, I guess." |

This is from Reality Blurred.... Reality stars will perform in the Vagina MonologuesA number of reality stars will appear in a tour of The Vagina Monologues that starts Saturday at Howard University in Washington, DC, and features an all-black cast. The production's cast includes Taj Johnson-George, who was in Brazil last fall for Survivor Tocantins and appeared in the Vagina Monologues production last year. She's also part of the group SWV. Also appearing are Top Model's Toccara and Flavor of Love's Deelishis, and Tiffany
Pollard, aka New York from VH1's I Love New York. Tiffany is attempting an actual acting career, but says this isn't part
of developing her acting career. "It's more of a personal stake in this. I'm a woman and I come from a family with a large number of women in it
and I heard all the stories of boyfriends cheating, of guys being verbally abusive and I myself, unfortunately, had a few guys verbally abuse me. I just want
to be there and lend my voice and take part in this. It's a celebration for women and we need to be liberated every day," Tiffany told EUR.

She also doesn't look too noticeably thinner either - though she looks good.
Has it been confirmed at all whether we have an F2 or F3 this year? Really crossing my fingers for an F2, I absolutely detest F3s. And any word on whether we'll get the first few minutes on CNET.com again? |

Probst is already touting that this season could crack the Top 5... (it's in this week's EW, with Evangeline Lily and Matt Fox on the cover)

What does the article in EW actually say? Is it just that it's a good season?

Remember, Cook Islands and Palau are in Jeff's top five (along with Borneo, Australia, and Pearl Islands).
Due to the excessive numbers of twists, we're not likely to have anything as character-driven and stipped-down as Borneo and Australia. And although I could hope for something that's as wild and WTF awesome as Pearl Islands, I'm thinking that this could turn out to be a Cook Islands or a Palau where a Tom/Yul figure runs away with the game, and everyone pretty much gets along and enjoys themselves (which is why Jeff likes CI so much). |

It says (and this is all Probst speaking...)
"The first thing is CAST, CAST, CAST. (Here's a tease: "Dragon Slayer"--just wait!) I'm putting my reputation on the line: If you don't love this cast, I'll offer to switch EW.com blogging jobs with The Bachelor's Chris Harrison. And get ready for a BIG TWIST in the first five munutes that has lasting repercussions. Hint: Can you ever change a first impression? We'll find out. As for THE BLINDSIDE, it is taken to a whole 'nother level. We set a new record this season. Beastly. And the TERRAIN? High desert, 120 degrees, snakes, injuries, and a stunning river oasis. Exile Island will totally destroy them. Tocantins is so good, it just may crack our top five seasons ever."- Jeff Probst |

So according to Jeff, we should have at least eight blindsides this season, and seeing as there are only 16 people as opposed to Micronesia's 20, that could be pretty awesome. |

Well, bummer that "injuries" is one of the positive characteristics of the season.
Due to the excessive numbers of twists, we're not likely to have anything as character-driven and stipped-down as Borneo and Australia.Do we have a lot of twists? There's the one at the very beginning, which will be a big surprise to the players I think, but I don't think is all that twisty. The game design includes two people at exile and a chance to switch tribes. I guess in some sense that offers the possibility of a twist every week, but in my mind that sets up a whole lot more opportunities for "character driven" stories. Any combination of personalities on exile can result in a two-person swing in a tribe's alliances. (I think that's what Probst likes about Cook Islands. Not that Yul was so awesome, but that the mutiny twist created the Aitu 4.) The immunity idol hidden camp is hardly even a twist any more. |

Well if Probst says that well liked people get blindsided, then I fear for "Bubbles". She
seems like she's gonna be one of those likable people.
At the same rate, JP also seems genuinely excited about the season which could mean that we have popular end results. Then again, we had two of the most popular people, Bob and Sugar, make the endgame last season and he didn't seem all that excited, so who the hell knows. |
