I think they might get Bob, Sugar, or Matty to host the TV Guide Special.

And with her casting for this, who can deny that Survivor and reality tv doesn't get you further in your macting career. Just sayin... |

Or the reporters running the first challenge?

Sugar was definitely hated by the jury, and not just because they were "pretentious." She was genuinely mean to other players out there and went out
of her way to humiliate or hurt other contestants. That bitch would have never won.
As for the stills, I think they are the reporters. Shouldn't Andy Denhart have a thing on the first challenge coming soon? |

Sugar may have been a "fan favorite" but the whole season was a set up to how she lost in the end. It was clear from the start.

Thanks for the vidcaps. I don't think that tells us anything new yet. I guess maybe it looks like retrieving the planks on the rafts is a run-out rather
than a swim-out. (Hey! You know what athletic activity Crystal really was good at? Running through neck deep water. Too bad she didn't get more challenges
like that one.)
Uninspiring set decoration so far, just those little square wigglies everywhere, but I am still holding out hope for a generally avi-licious season. |

Has anyone else seen the new interview, Posted over at the SurvivorFever web-site, with Benjamin Wade yet? It is very interesting...
Here are some of the things that I have found very interesting... His basic strategy is to "tell a select few people that we need to change the game" and go with them to the end, where the strong will then battle it out. Along the way, he'll play above-board. Like Survivor Gabon's Marcus, he seems to have clearly drawn moral lines. "I love winning-almost more than anything-but not at the brooking of my integrity and my honesty," he told me, and later said, "I don't care about the money-I mean, I do, I want a million dollars, but not on my reputation." His biggest challenge, then, is "to have the intuition to know who to elect as those corporals or generals, those leaders, that's going to be the important thing. Because if I reveal that strategy to somebody who wants to turn and use it against me, then I'm going to be out and I'm going to be out early," he said. Who are those people that he was "trying to give them mental telepathy as I'm sitting next to them" at Ponderosa? He said Candace and JT were "like pleading at me with their eyes to take them into the fold," but thinks JT isn't physically strong enough and Candace is smart but too "freaked out about bugs and stuff." He also cited the "tall guy, blonde hair, real Abercrombie and Fitch type" (Tyson, I assumed) who has "condescending attitude" and has "a lot of damage control to do" because he acts "very superior." Pre-game, he saw his final four alliance as including Debra and Brendan, and maybe the guy with the "square jaw, dark hair, mid-20s." He was pissed at Brendan, the "famous businessman," for revealing that he was being cast (more on that with Brendan's interview), but Benjamin said that because Brendan's business and sales depend upon his behavior on the show, Benjamin has "kind of got him by the balls on that." |

I can not believe that Benjamin Wade, is kinda of comparing himself to JESUS...Maybe I am reading it wrong, But, I WOULD NEVER compare myself to
JESUS...Because I am not worthy...Nor, do I know anyone who is that worthy to compare themselves to the LORD...That just Erik's me to no end!!!!
So will this all work? Maybe. Benjamin is incredibly charismatic and intelligent, but he's also controlling and arrogant. "I refuse to not take charge," he said, and later suggested his leadership in the game will be modeled after Jesus: "Of course, Christianity, to be a servant/leader, that's what Jesus Christ was. I see that in myself, and I see wanting to be that servant/leader," he said. |

I have no idea what that means. P.S. Many people don't consider JESUS CHRIST to be anything other than some guy. He isn't everyones LORD. |

Can't me shocked if Bend doesn't want to align with the Army Sergent. If he wants an alliance of the strong, who else could be considered stronger?

Good night, this guy is truly arrogant and over the top. Comparing Survivor to the fall and success of civilizations. But it really does take the cake that he
compares his persona to Jesus Christ. But he also shows his religious fanaticism by claiming God sent him to do Survivor.
..And he was also honest about what Survivor might do for him. "Obviously, for me, I think that God has … opened this door for a reason. I'm interested to see how much longer I'm going to be a soccer coach, or if this is going to evolve me into something else," he said.Well I may not like the guy, but in fact I am looking forward to seeing him on the show. And even I would like to see if he can pull off his 'strongest' to the end plan, only to see something different from the last 3 seasons. |
