Syesha won the night for me but I loved his understated performance. I can think of 10 ALW songs I would have rather heard him sing but he is still the best
contestant by a long shot.

Admittedly, I wrote him off way back in the Top 24. I seriously thought he was just meh. Boy was I fucking wrong. 
That was one of the HAWTEST performances I've seen in awhile. WOW. The other thing I like about him is he seems to be truly enjoying what he's doing up there. No entitlement issues *cough* Egghead *cough* |

I was apprehensive at first, then after the first few notes, I was like he might pull this off, then by the third part, I was like wow, he can even do ALW

not to combine my two fantard worlds but David Cook reminds me of Kelly Clarkson.... she wasn't the favorite going in but she kept getting better and
better every week and every week she proved taht she could sing anything and ultimately she ended up blowing everyone else away!
I know people say that DC was TCO from the beginning but I disagree....I don't think they wanted anyone competing with Daughtry....whom they really wanted to win in Season 5... and certainly didn't see Cookie coming out of the shadows and blowing everyone away. |
