On the one hand I'm super happy that a song other than "Light On" got some exposure but on the other hand "Permanent" isn't a
boy/girl love song type deal, it's probably the song on the album that is the most emotional and special and their dance to it is an misinterpretation of
it.

I tend to agree, SHC. I like that the song appeals to people on different levels and love the fact that they used the song on the show, though. But...yeah.
That's the one song on the album I selfishly don't want to be re-interpreted because it's so specific and personal.
