I like how the winner of American Idol is right up there with the Olympics and the Presidential Election. It goes to show what a huge cultural impact American
Idol has made, not only on America but in many parts of the world they can recognize Idol as a pop culture phenomenon.

D. Cook just out-performed everyone at Rockefeller Center tonight. His I'll Be Home For Christmas (which aired only in the NY market) was truly fantastic -
hope a youtube of it pops up. It deserves to be heard.

I just finished watching Happy Christmas. He looked and sounded great. Seeing Neal up there with him was awesome. Neal rocks so hard. Once again, I have to be
a broken record and marvel at these schlubby but loveable dudes from Tulsa performing at Rockefeller Center for one of the biggest Christmas events in the
country. Could they have dreamed this up while hanging out in those dive bars a little over a year ago? Doubt it. Fucking awesome.
