I don't think they meant to not give credit for his earlier arrangements, they obviously have no problem throwing it in there, I just think it probably
didn't occur to them to tape it then when they started to get complaints again they were like oh, sure we can fit in a mention of White Snake or Chris
Cornell before the performance.

Since I'd just be rewording it otherwise, I'm going to copy what I said about his performance in the ratings thread:
Not only his best performance, which is saying a lot, but the best performance of the season so far and one of the best of the entire series. In my opinion, the first 10/10 of the season. And I don't even like the original version of Billie Jean. Absolutely brilliant. |

Just watched his performance online, AND OMG THAT WAS FUCKING HAWT!!! I don't care if it was a cover of a cover of a cover. Seacrust gave Chris Cornell
proper credit, and David sang the fucking hell out of it!! Brilliant.
I hate you David Cook, stop turning me into a squealing fantard. Oh yeah, he was one weird-looking baby.
