Brooke WhiteFinally, an Idol who sang songs we knew! Blondie gets automatic bonus points for performing the breezy and fun "I'm a Believer" on guitar, but what really surprised Us was her ethereal "I Am, I Said" on piano. It endeared Brooke to Us like in her early Idol days, and tonight's performances were just what she needed to escape elimination. Job well done! READ BIO |

David CookWe weren't too thrilled with DC's sub-par "I'm Alive," but all was forgiven after the first few notes of the rock lullaby "All I Really Need Is You." That version is radio-ready for sure, but a tad too reminiscent of season five fave Daughtry. There's no doubt we'll see a David-David finale, but would it kill Cookie to offer unique (read: non-Daughtry-esque) performances now and again? READ BIO |
