The people I usually hear it from are the corporate types who are also using 'impacted' and 'guesstimate' and all those other $2.00 words.
I'm pretty sure they think they are sounding smart.

this document?" or "Check with Tom, he may have the cycles to help you out."
It's a common thing in my company so I'm guessing it's consultant-speak. |
