I think there were two laughs, Ben and Alex at the swing. I agree that Desmond was running. It happens quickly, but if you slow it down he definitely takes a
couple strides before he tackles Ben.

OK, I haven't rewatched it yet but from what I saw and what I'm reading from you guys and what you all saw, here's my 2 cents -
#4 - I would say little Alex counts as a laugh and Charles doesn't if it was only a smirk. If Ben did chuckle I'd say it was a laugh. #5 - Since we saw Desmond for a second moving fast as he knocks into Ben, I'd say that counts as running. Little Charlie I don't think would count. Ilana's buddy would. #6 - We definitely heard Danielle's music box. #8 - Did anyone hear any "what"s? #9 - Unlike last time, I will happily say it's D this time (even though I got it wrong again :p), because there's no way to know how long they were in there before the final scene nor how close to dark it was before when they went underground. #10 - Locke wasn't in the ocean but I would say Ben was, since we need to make a yes/no judgment and from all we know that was very likely ocean water. #14 - If Frank did say "The rest of your friends are 30 years ago" then I would say that's talk of time travel. #15 - OK, what about little Ben? No one has mentioned him yet for this answer. Little Ben is still Ben. He mentioned The Others and Charles Widmore, so one of those were first. Unofficial Answers (the ones I'm least sure about bolded) 1. No 2. Yes 3. No 4. C-2? 5. C-2? 6. Yes 7. No 8. A-0? 9. D 10. Yes 11. No 12. No 13. No 14. Yes 15. E-The Others? Or is it D-Charles Widmore? |

All salt water is the ocean? Really? Weak. And how on earth would we know that that was the same docks they all met up at later? Another assumption. Still want
to know why assumptions are okay on some questions and not others.
I know, I'm being a brat, but inconsistencies aggravate me. |

Cindi, Ben was still wet when he met back up with Jack, Kate, Sun at the dock. He couldn't have been too far away.

I didn't think Little Ben talked about any of those things listed but I'll have to go back and check. Also, I'll have to check on the
"What"s too unless someone else can verify before I get home from work. ;o)

Wait a minute. LITTLE Ben counts for number 15??? I did not choose answers for little Ben because the question didn't indicate young Ben. Last
quiz indicated little Ben when you meant little Ben. I don't think young Ben should count for number 15 - since the question didn't ask what young Ben
OR older Ben would mention first.
eta - I just read above where SS said Ben is Ben.. but that wasn't the case last week. Both Ben questions referred to "little Ben", so Ben is Ben wasn't the rule last week but he is this week?? Ugh. Time to start throwing Hot Pockets again.

I don't remember that, but I do remember it still being broad daylight when he called whoever it was he called when he was wet, and it being night when they met at the dock. He must have had some slow drying clothes. Neither of which makes the water he fell in "ocean". Felicia, don't forget to watch Harpers Island tonight! |

Cindi, I wouldn't worry about that 50 point ocean question if I were you. Ben changing to either Ben (which I think is lame) is 250 points worth
of temper tantrums.
I'll be watching HI. I didn't forget. (thanks to Cheyenie) Aslans and I were gonna go out to eat tonight then remembered that was coming on and changed plans. |

It's more the inconsistencies with assumptions that I'm bitching about than the 50 points.
And I just now remembered that you said to remind you, so I figured I'd post it here where I knew you'd see it, lol. |

cindi, honestly, I wrote that question with the ocean at the island in mind. Leave it to Lost to have the only person that goes in water be in a marina! But we have to answer the question one way or the other, and I think enough evidence points to it being ocean water. I don't even think "No" is an option at this point because that'd also be an assumption, but a way bigger assumption. aslans, little Ben didn't say "The Others" or "Charles Widmore" by name, but he said something like "Who are these people" or "Who are you" and things like that a few times that mentions them. I just don't remember which one he mentioned first. ETA - Oh, I'm excited about Harper's Island. I hope it's good!

Ok then I'll bitch about inconsistencies with assumptions. After young Ben was shown, questions about little Ben referred to little Ben.
But this week anytime there was a Ben question, we were to assume that meant either Ben? I didn't based on previous Ben questions. I expected an
indication of which one or both. And if the question said BEN, then that meant BEN, not "little Ben".

Yeah but that shouldn't count as he didn't refer to who they were or to Widmore's name. Little Ben didn't say it. It's not like that's
the same as Big Ben saying "You're alive?!" referencing Locke's death.

I still say assumptions are either okay or not okay, not just "okay when we feel like it". Either way that question is decided there'd be assumptions, so I'm just going with the most logical assumption to me. Felicia, sorry, but I still think any Ben should count from my wording. Like I said, I wasn't expecting little Ben so I didn't even think about wording with that, but that doesn't mean little Ben shouldn't count, in my opinion. aslans, I would say if it's clear that when he says "them" he's talking about "The Others" or when he says "you" he's talking about "Charles Widmore" then it should count, even if he didn't know who they were yet, because he's still mentioning them. It seems like that's the way we've been doing it on any question that didn't ask for "by name" but either way my opinion on it is that someone is mentioning someone if they say "you" et al and it's clear who it's about. Like I said to Felicia though, we can see what BAON/Fluffy has to say since this is such a big point question. |

FWIW I thought Desmonds boat was in a freshwater marina. My sister in England used to live on a houseboat there, & it was always on fresh water ( canal)
not in the sea. I', not so sure they were even in LA on the boat.

I think you should all just agree that I get 350 points for that question, and everyone else gets 0.
