Okay, good. You frightened me for a bit.
The Mist and The Descent are the two best horror flicks of the past five-ten years. LOVE THEM.

It's often advertised as "The most controversial film ever made", and every review of the film I've read goes to great lengths to describe how much the reviewer was repulsed by the content, even if he or she liked the movie, therefore anyone who watches it should know what to expect. |

Willard - I'll never know why I watched that when I have a rodent phobia. Just the thought of it still gives me shivers.
The Exorcist - The dog with the red eyes. At least, I think it was in The Exorcist. Alien - The guy's abdomen. |

The Manitou..Creepy when I was young, the whole midget/dwarf thing made me want t run.
Poseidon Adventure was another one. My day took us to see it before going on a cruise so I was paranoid of rouge waves at 5. Wee |

I dunno what it is about the scene from Freddy Kruger, when Johnny Depp (I think it is) gets swallowed in by his bed...Ever since seeing that, I always sleep
next to the wall, as far away from the middle as I can!
Weird I know! |

I watched the Descent with a group of friends at like midnight in the basement and I thought parts of it were hilarious... (I'm a bad person, aren't I? Nah. That movie wasn't nearly as horrifying as people made it out to be. |

Sign's freaks me out too.
I remember there was a group of us over our friends house, we were all sitting down in the basement with all the lights out crowded on the couch watching. The scene where the alien makes it's first appearance at the little Mexican childrens birthday, gaaaaaaaaaaaah! I don't think I've heard a group of teens scream as loud as we all did simultaneously. |

i had forgotten this movie for a while unti it came on last summer and i watched it with my teenagers
Burnt Offerings. my kids thought it was really lame, but when i was a kid the chauffer's giant toothy grin really scared me. it was also the first movie i remember seeing where a kid was killed. |

Audition: I have only seen clips of it, but it looks like the scariest thing ever. I can't even imagine what it would be like to be the man in the
bag.....gives me shivers.
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory: The blueberry scene. It gave me nightmares, I wouldn't go near any form of gum. Pinocchio: The Donkey scene. It always used to creep me out, and still does. Cabin Fever: When that girl gets it and all her friends turn on her. That was the only scary Thpart of the movie, but it's terrifying how your best friend could be screaming at you to get away from them. The Blair Witch Project: The ending scene. Last House on the Left: ENTIRE THING. |

I just watched "The Hills Have Eyes" last night. I've never felt so icky after any other movie than that disgusting movie. |

Did you watch the original or the remake from a few years ago?
Ooo, I forgot about that one! That traumatized me too. |

I can't imagine how the remake of LHOTL is going to compare to the original. Most of the stuff in the original the won't be able to get away with in an
R rated movie today.
