Salem's lot - when the ghost boy is floating outside, scratching on the window. omg. chills up my spine I can't stand going to sleep with the curtains open.
Nightmare on Elm Street (#) - when the dude's veins are sliced out, and he's made to be a marionette. :scream:
The Shining - when the old dead woman rises out of the bathtub. Oh, and the blood-flood. Even now, when I'm taking a bath, I find it hard not to picture that scene in my head.
Road Warrior- when the dude has to cut his own hand/arm off to save himself. Just the thought of being faced with that choice gives me the heebie-geebies.
You'd think after 20 or 30 years, some would have faded from memory, but nope.
To this day, they still freak me the fuck out! I can close my eyes and see them. :shudder:
The meat grinder scene in The Wall was kinda icky too, but not traumatic.
