And don't even get me started on that fucking mirror universe. I'm going through DS9 right now and I've decided I'm never going to watch those
episodes again.

I never got why the fans creamed over those episodes so much, they bore me. I think the bisexual Kira/Intendant angle was the draw for most of those fans. Not
a lot of plot discussion going on in those script meetings, I would imagine. It's more like, "We finally have a way to bring Bareil back! Except now
he's an asshole, and completely unattractive and uninteresting as a love interest for Nerys."

Prove it with statistical evidence, I know that it's out there.
Star Trek is an epic fail on a social commentary and tech scale btw. Love TOS for Kirk and Spocks relationship though. |

What is your take on Enterprise, Anti?

They are the space homos. The term "slash" fiction derives from the shorthand name for "Kirk/Spock" fanfiction, a powerful subgenre that flourished underground in the 70s long before there was an internet to propagate it. A significant number of fans are hoping for at least some allusion to this in the upcoming film. |

Imagine what America could accomplish if it could somehow find a way to channel its Trekkers into productive use of their time. The economy would turn around
over night and we truly would live in paradise.
Are you listening Obama? That's the kind of change America needs! |

Being one of the significant number of fans that you mentioned, I have absolutely no need whatsoever to know this. |

What happened to Yeoman Rand?
She didn't appear in any movie, right? |

But has Yeoman Rand ever kissed a girl? This is the question (and image) that keeps repeating in my mind.

I think we should call more people by the title Yeoman.
