I think your post is right in parts - minorities do tend to get huge followings here. But Sugar was one of the most popular contestants last season and she is the biggest mactor we have seen yet. And I think I read somewhere that Yau Man was recruited too. So obviously there is a track record for recruits being outrageously popular, which causes casting to keep looking down that line for contestants. Don't get me wrong: I think its bullshit and would much prefer a season without mactors. But there are many casual viewers of the show that would disagree. So your opinion is not fact. It's just your opinion. |
